    Paxum qustion.

    Ruth, I have read that when you pay with a debit card it shows your real name. Any possibility to somehow switch that off?

                  Are you talking about having the name printed on the card? If so no - there is not a way to have that not shown.

                              Electronic cards and such show names and data. Nothing of the sort is truly "private".
                              Pay with cash is pretty much the only way to avoid this.

                                      It's done to avoid taxes, if your name shows up in the logs - the authorities can run searches and possibly catch you and fine you for tax evasion.

                                      Either you co abroad and buy stuff there and bring back home or you take out cash in a country other than your own. Thereby making it so much harder for your local tax guy to catch you.

                                      Or just pay your taxes!!!
