If you're selling this for $20, and you sell say 1000 copies, won't craigslist catch on very quickly when all thier ads start vanishing because people are spamming them?

Only problem is, the "joke" is the "software". The "joke" only works if people try it. And partly through to disinterest and partly due to the hapless way you wrote your posts, it seems like almost nobody tried it.

So basically the "joke" was: you took the time to start three different threads in two different forums claiming you wrote a shady program, and people criticized what you said you were selling. I'm not sure why that makes anyone look foolish but you. Nobody is 'pissed off' at anything other than what you said you were doing.

Basically (for some reason) this guy went to the trouble of posting three threads claiming he did something, and thinks it's comedy gold that people assumed he wasn't lying.

Yes, the entire thing was a joke, a farce, a satire. The software is fake, it does nothing except produce an illusion of doing something.

It was my way of entertaining myself on a Friday while I installed a bunch of stuff on my back-up laptop so I could have a machine to work with.

The flaghag page was originally created a few years back to screw with some people at craigslist who were openly requesting flagging bots. While I was moving things around yesterday I saw it and decided I could have fun with it.

And I did, even if apparently noone else did ;p

Then a reference to doing cc's out of Guatemala which since the Crescent days has been associated with the bad guys.
