Thank you for that. I thought that through out the sales text I had kind of indicated that the whole thing was a farce.
First the idea that I would openly attempt to sell something that could only be described as "illegal" I would have thought would have tipped most folks off.
But then, like you say, the promise of "billions of proxies and robots", something associated with viruses and scammers would be a tip off:
Quote:
Our super stealth mode combined with the leverage of literally billions of available proxies and robots
...............
But wait, you get more!! That's right, along with the FlagHag 5000 you get the power of the FlagHag 5000 proxy and robot armies. That is literally billions of computers at your beck and call on a moments notice.

Then I thought the name of it would be a clue that it was bullshit:

FlagHag 5000 automated flagging engine

Then an impossible support promise. There is no way that I know of that any body can honestly promise support for your lifetime. A product's lifetime, yes. A company's lifetime, yes. But your lifetime?
Quote:
Not enough for you? Well you also get unlimited support of the FlagHag 5000 for YOUR lfetime. That is absolutely correct, you are NOT reading it wrong. We provide support to the FlagHaqg 5000 for YOUR entire lifetime not our lifetime, not the FlagHag 5000 lifetime but YOUR lifetime and that is absolutely guaranteed.
|
Then a bullshit money-back guarantee. 3 times the price of a free try.
Quote:
So, go on over to The FlagHag 5000 and give it a try. If you are not totally astounded we will gladly refund 3 times the amount you spent to try it.

Then a reference to doing cc's out of Guatemala which since the Crescent days has been associated with the bad guys.

Then, here in this very thread I openly ducked the TOS message question, writing it off as a technical glitch and using a Baghdad Bob meme in my answer. Then I passed it on to my developers "Hopsing" and "Deepali". Hopsing ?? Anyone remember Bonanza?
Quote:
That? That's nothing, just a little technical glitch. I have our developers Hopsing and Deepali working on it as I type this.
Nothing to worry about, really. I mean it.

And of course my tech guys are so good that they have inside contacts at Craigslist?
Quote:
Ok, I just heard back from Deepali and he said "sir, I speak to Craigslist contact Rhaja and he say that a person call Craigslist and report the FlagHag 5000. Sir, he say that they report it as a "spammer tool". I tell Rhaja it is not spammer tool but marketing tool. Rhaja, he say ok and he say no worry you about the TOS. Sir, you ok sir"

Yes, I thought I had made it pretty damn obvious that it was bullshit.
But, it appears I was still too subtle. :helpme
