Fiddy fake flagging bots

Yes, the entire thing was a joke, a farce, a satire. The software is fake, it does nothing except produce an illusion of doing something.

It was my way of entertaining myself on a Friday while I installed a bunch of stuff on my back-up laptop so I could have a machine to work with.

The flaghag page was originally created a few years back to screw with some people at craigslist who were openly requesting flagging bots. While I was moving things around yesterday I saw it and decided I could have fun with it.

And I did, even if apparently noone else did ;p

The mention of billions of proxies should be a giveaway... that would be like every IP in use in the world happens to be a proxy. :thumbsup

Thank you for that. I thought that through out the sales text I had kind of indicated that the whole thing was a farce.


First the idea that I would openly attempt to sell something that could only be described as "illegal" I would have thought would have tipped most folks off.

But then, like you say, the promise of "billions of proxies and robots", something associated with viruses and scammers would be a tip off:

Then an impossible support promise. There is no way that I know of that any body can honestly promise support for your lifetime. A product's lifetime, yes. A company's lifetime, yes. But your lifetime?


Then a bullshit money-back guarantee. 3 times the price of a free try.



Then a reference to doing cc's out of Guatemala which since the Crescent days has been associated with the bad guys.



Then, here in this very thread I openly ducked the TOS message question, writing it off as a technical glitch and using a Baghdad Bob meme in my answer. Then I passed it on to my developers "Hopsing" and "Deepali". Hopsing ?? Anyone remember Bonanza?




And of course my tech guys are so good that they have inside contacts at Craigslist?
