I very much doubt it. These aren't companies actively fighting the claim looking at the report but rather companies that probably cannot afford to fight being taken to court. That's unlikely to be a good outcome

Has anyone told Microsoft or one of the big boys about this?

Give me the telephone number and I will phone them and see what they think is going to happen to them, when these cock suckers have enough court decisions and money to fight them.

The stupid thing is we find it dificult to protect the rights of our images, which we created and these scum bags can afford sue for us using an idea they thought woulf be worth money.

Acacia will win a few small default judgments and collect a small % on a few small companies that will cave into their extortion demands.

and then they will take on an entity with some real $ who will smash them like a bug.

this will all go down within 18 months.

and they already know that their time is limited in the marketplace. their strategy is to collect as much as they can until they lose the first big case and become insolvent.

watch it happen.

they already made a major miscalculation---they sent out 1000's of expensive glossy info packets hoping to extort from the outlaw porno industry.

and they claim they signed up 8.

nice fuckin' try.

so that's how well their think tank evaluates the market.

totally fuckin' out-of-touch.

even aol talks now about their new system of sending video email.

these Acacia fucks are 10 years too late.

nice try Acacia, go bang on Bill Gates door. he beat the US federal government in court.

and guess what---the guys that wimped out and paid acacia won't be getting a dime back.

I think that there is a very good chance that with with a good judge and a stack of prior art in hand these suits will be summarily dismissed.
