    Apple fanboys.

    If you use an iPhone what are some cool apps you use that you don't think many people know about?

    If you use a Mac computer, what are some applications that you love?

    Thanks for sharing.

              BBEdit is my most used app. Couldn't live without it.

                                  First apps I install on a new machine:

                                  Alfred
                                  Better Touch Tool

                                  TextMate

                                    TextMate is free now, much better than BBEdit but I use Sublime.

                                    Cyberduck is good for FTP SCP stuff.
                                    I'm out.

                                          Windows is starting to upset me a bit. Windows 8 is not an improvement over Windows 7 - It should have been Called Windows Home User or something. Uninstalled.

                                          Windows Phone is also not impressing me. Thankfully I have both an iPhone and a Windows Phone. Next go-around I will try an Android device.

                                          That said, I don't think I'll be switching to an all-out Apple setup any time soon. That stuff is expensive too!

                                          As for iPhone apps...

                                          * Air Canada
                                          * Starbucks
                                          * Weather Network
                                          * CNN
                                          * CBC News
                                          * Dropbox

                                          That's about it - it really is mostly for plowing through emails via Exchange account. I'd recommend a Hosted Exchange account for anybody... got tons more apps on the iPad.

                                          Most apps, never get used... so I uninstall!

                                            Any good apps for iPad? I'm thinking of getting on next week to start learning iOS development.

                                              Flight

                                              If you are buying a Mac I also suggest you get the Mac Time Capsule. It's 802-11.n wifi station with a 2TB or 3TB hard drive built in, making for easy and fast backups.

                                              If you want to add a second screen to your mac for an extended desktop you can do that too, but even cooler you can use a second mac as a second screen. This lets you use 2 computers independently (1 for rendering while keeping the other one fast for example), and both computers can use both screens if you want. This can even be done wirelessly but wired is better in this case.

This lets you use 2 computers independently (1 for rendering while keeping the other one fast for example), and both computers can use both screens if you want. I do that with my MacBook.

                                                Same keyboard, same mouse, iMac and MacBook.
