    Just lost my dog Tonight

    Well its now 243 am Took my chow girl to the ER for animals at 10 pm she out of the blue had 4 huge sizers found out that her liver had a huge tumor which busted had her for 10 years she wasn't even to make it past 7 years she was a miniature chow God I'm so freaking upset.... and tired got this fucking hurricane staring down on me and my family now this out of the blue tonight.. just thought I would blow off some steam. Going to go to bed ttyl

                                                              Feel sad for you ... lost our small 15 year old puppy on Sept 22nd when he died in my arms and it still tears me up thinking about it and the way that he died. I'll never forget him for all the love that he gave to us since we inherited him 7 years ago from my wifes dead Uncle. It's hard to believe how they can grow on you just like a child.

                                                              Best of luck and hope you get over it faster than I did.

                                                                      Hey all thanks its rough, what really freaked me out was the cancer part didn't know she had it and it brings back so many bad thoughts about my cancer. The pain I went through the pain I still go through after her four seizers and in her Postictal state she didn't even know who I was or my mom But again It was late last night and just needed to vent thank you all so much for your wishes and thoughts. This place has always been my INTERNET home and at times like this seeing everyone coming together and giving their support makes me feel so much better! Thanks again.

                                                                                                      it sounds like your dog didn't have much pain from the tumor, you'd have noticed it long ago - some cancers are like that i hear.

                                                                                                                  NO way on getting another pet ever ever ever again. This is like the 4th or Th time in my 40 years of living I have had to lose something I loved very much, never ever had to put one a sleep though but NO more pets for me! Thats like me saying my son passed away so I need to knock up someone else and get custody of that child! *shrugs* Thanks again everyone for your kind thoughts.

A month ago, my daughter's dog - a dog that loved nothing more than car rides - decided to run into the street. He ran into a car and caught his neck on the rear bumper. He died instantly...

                                                                                                                              The worst thing was, I had to drive around with my daughter's dead dog on my lap until I found her. No way I could tell her over the phone that her baby died.

                                                                                                                              One of the worst days of my life.

Good luck to all in this hurricane its getting really bad here in Hampton Roads Virginia and its not even close to being the worse part of the storm!
