You cant get a helicopter in the same places these can go, and these make 95% less noise and can be carried in the trunk of a car.

This is just a more maneuverable camera that is still controlled by a human.

Give it another 10 years and the skies will be full of autonomous drones, constantly hunting for "potential" crimes, reporting back to headquarters when they detect something.
