Tube Script Mechbunny and Google bounce rate

Hello,

Sorry for the language, I communicate from France. I tested the script Mechbunny tube. The script is good, but we were forced to make many changes, especially in SEO.

I met a big problem with the bounce rate announced by Google. Do you have problem with your mechbunny tube? Before using Wordpress and we were at 15%, now we're at 50% with mechbunny script.

The videos on this website are of good quality and everything is done to give visitors wanting to see more.

Is it because of the script?
Is anyone having the same problem?

bounce rate doesn't really have anything to do with the script, but your layout effects it. I spoke to a client recently who told me he had a 10% bounce rate

Have you picked up new traffic sources since moving to MB?

See what sources are messing with the numbers and you might get some clues that you can use to tweak your site to keep them interested longer.

The answers are all there in analytics, you just have to dig deeper through the data...

This is one of the dumber myths of SEO. Not as dumb as Class C IP's, but still pretty dumb.

It's ok for us.

we found a way to reduce our bounce rate highly.

the script nothing to do.

Now we have 15% bounce rate.

Not design.

Our sites are very well designed.

we found a way to reduce our bounce rate highly.

45% to 15%.

It's not important and irrelevant. Every single page online has different content, different users and a different purpose all with users spending different amounts of time on those pages. Spending more time reading a page because its poorly laid out, confusing or because the author is a retard and horrible writer, does not make that page a better search result for the phrases it may rank for.

Google is not tracking every known content type in the universe, each page with that content type and then measuring those pages against each other with respect to how long users stay on those pages. Further, how does Google know the bounce rate for a page? It means you have be using analytics.. .hence anyone not using analytics is punished. Thats not how Google works.

Google wants a few things and anything they say is to achieve those ends and then its poorly misunderstood. No link trades, buying links or affecting PR with links. Produce better content that users want. Since Google has launched in 98, every update was the end of the world and the beginning of 100 new myths that lemmings treat as gospel. Overall, very little has changed. Back links, page titles, anchor text etc etc etc still rule today as they did in 2000.

Thank you for the advice. We are working in SEO for a long time. We know the optimization criteria for Google. I remind you, however, it is mandatory to specify that the visitor enters a site for adults (one clic on a disclaimer). And this is in the interest of the visitor!

In general tubes have a bigger Bounce Rate comparing with blogs.
Tubes gather traffic and send it to sponsors through banners/plugs.redirects etc so it is normal to have a higher Bounce Rate.
