I can't deny it any more.... if I'm to follow my own philosophies, even I have to face facts eventually.

I have morphed.

Those that knew me when I first appeared here should be able to see it easily. Is this good or bad...? I don't know..... I still can't put it into those limited terms yet..... but I do know I have morphed into something other than what I originally began as. Time, experience, & life in Maui has changed me. I like to think for the better.

Time will tell I guess.

oh well.... i'm just rambling now.... just ignore me... have a drink on me...

sometimes.... but not really... never for very long. I got truckers sleep syndrome. I can crash in 2 minutes if I need to regardless of where I'm at or what's going on around me.... but I never sleep for more than an hour or so at a time. My passion for political debates.... or even a good old fashioned flame throw down thread, is pretty much completely gone.... I just don't have it in me anymore.... I just don't care.... the flame has died.

Sometimes I get started in a thread.... but I end up just letting it die out and go on whatever direction it's gonna go....

Old Amp would NEVER have done that.....

that's what scares me... I used to be fucking ruthless.... now I'm just a watered down version of my former self.

it's fucking expensive here bro.... Gas is over $2.10 for regular now... home on the beach will run you $10 mil easy.... the house I'm in runs $800k...

beer is cheap though... as long as you stay out of the resorts.

well, firstly.... there is nowhere like Maui.... this place fucking owns. And I've been all over the world.

secondly, it's not only as awesome as it gets, but it's also still the US.... I don't gotta deal with some third world government or any of the bullshit that goes along with all that.... we are a US State. That is a major factor. We got 7-11's and Taco Bells and clean water and actual police that have to abide by actual rules and life is groovy. Expensive, but groovy. And worth every fucking penny.
