I you buy the cheap and low end hardware apple will appear to be very expensive.
If you buy medium or higher end products the cost is about the same..
What makes a difference in the end is your computer is build by the company who made the OS, you do not need to fuck around with drivers, conflicting hardware etc etc
If something doesn't work you have 1 company to go to.. Not Microsoft that sends you to Logitech that send you I the next company who ask you to unplug this, reset that etc
And on top of this everything syncs and works smooth between the iPhone , iPad and computers

Of course it's fun to geek around but if your argument is the cost then you do not value your own time very high..

:thumbsup:thumbsup:thumbsup and you know what? The upgrade process is a snap. A fast download and faster upgrade than Windows too. The only problem with an os upgrade I had last year was with using dual iMacs as an extended desktop. I had to upgrade both machines in order to continue to use that mode - took a 5 minute phone call to Apple to find that out, AND, Apple gave me the second OS upgrade FOR FREE. me=happy!

Think again.... There is a reason why Microsoft is copying apple now... We both know it, there's now reason to pretend..
