"vote no war"

Hey, I'm not much into political shit at all, hate it, I avoid it. The Iraq situation makes me nervous. I don't even want to think about the effects that a radiological event in the U.S. would or will have on our already hard up economy, not to mention my balls.

I just read this speech by Senator Robert Byrd condemning the war:

Senate Remarks: Reckless Administration May Reap Disastrous Consequences

Today literally millions of people are protesting all over the world... Americans got gassed today for voicing their opinion, or walking outside of a narrow perimeter- including friends of mine who were down in New York. Check CNN.

If you're concerned about any of this, you may want to consider putting a link to http://www.votenowar.org/ somewhere on your site. I'm sure there are other things you can do, this one's just easy.

I've got a link at the bottom of the front page of my site. (it's my sig.) What does someone who's jerking off care? You might be surprised. If not, you won't lose traffic anyway.

There are positives and negatives to each I guess
I think as far as being pro war, you really need to know what Bush and Powell know that they don't tell.

I don't understand "voting" for no war.

WE HAVE NO VOTE. We are not as well informed as our leaders, so I'm glad we don't have a vote.

Something tells me you didn't bother to read byrd's speech.

Should I post it?

Trolls: I'm not here to argue, dudes. Posting the same content-free comments you posted in the other trhead is a bit redundant, isn't it?

As far as having or not having a vote goes, millions of Americans have voted with their feet, and their lungs today.

If anybody here has ever had chemical weapons training, they can tell you what being tear gassed feels like. There are Grandmas, teachers, and children facing off with the police today.

And their "vote" counts for what percentage of the votes needed to go to war? I'm pretty sure that number rhymes with "hero"

Hmmm, so what if every soldier we had, wanted a vote on no war...

They are trained to fight, kill, whatever...

That right? I see you have a firm grasp of politics and the effects of the media on foreign policy.

Argumentum ad hominem.

I think it's even more interesting that a klan boy would make this kind of speech.

Byrd is a total partisan. If this was a democratic president he'd be a war hawk.

Of course he doen't want to read it. Why? Closed minds don't like to be exposed to alternative points of view.

Besides making money off of wars, we also save a lot of repressed people that would be forever fucked were it not for the people who give their lives to secure freedom for others.

While the USA remains focused on the feral dog that is Iraq, the potentially very savage and deadly tiger of North Korea is stirring.

Whatever your stance on war, the world is becoming too unstable for my liking. I just hope economic pragmatism doesnt mean the end of us all.

(btw I am anti war)
