There is almost 100 studios/content owners that have had Google take down Pornhub URLs, since August last year - which is little compared to the stolen content there, but still more than 0.
If I was promoting or buying content from one of these studios/content owners, then I would be happy knowing that they actualy doing something about protecting their copyright:

Most paysites will be gone including many of those with their heads up the asses of the tubes. Few are going to buy when you are giving away most of the full scenes. The problem will compound as
a. Time goes on and the consumer is more used to free and/or knows what they can get for free.
b, Other content providers choose to share more content freely on these sites or choose to do nothing about it. (increasing a)
That's what's been happening for the last five years.

It's also better for affiliates to promote these programs. Ratios tend to be better when the full scenes are getting removed. It can be tricky to realize this until it's too late when you are a sponsor. At first all those sales from Pornhub might seem for free but there's a hidden cost which you will see in due time. In doesn't take a genius to see why or how this is.
Promo content won't cause this as much but even that will hurt your affiliates when the ratios fall (because their surfers have already seen it at Pornhub) and likely cause some of them to stop promoting you or leave the business. There will be some consequences from that too such as loss of the free backlinks and traffic as they leave.Last edited by signupdamnit; 10-20-2012, 12:23 PM.

Plus I don't understand why everybody is so bitter about tube sites because it's not their fault if the users are uploading the full length content. The internet is changing and the customers are too, we just have to adapt.
It's the main rule of evolution, the ones who are not ready to adapt are doomed and will disappear... right now let's try to see the tubes as a new way to promote and try to work around it. They wont go away and the trading will only get worst. Let's try to invent new ways to get our customers to pay and do it with a smile

You do know the very tube your content is on used to PAY people to steal content and upload it to all their tubes, don't you? They were caught red handed and outed publicly. Of course this was after they denied even owning tubes in the first place. But yea, it's not their fault. Poor guys.
Being in Canada, home of the pirates, I can't even imagine the nonsense they fill your head with there to justify their involvement in piracy. "It's all user uploaded, promise!"

Hey ArielRebel. Well the problem isn't the tube sites themselves or even the idea of user uploads. The problem with sites like Pornhub is that they deliberately seem to have policies which encourage the proliferation of pirated content. If you get some time look up Youtube's so-called Three Strikes policy. In brief what 3 strikes means is that after a user has three DMCA complaints their account is suspended and all content is removed. So if the user is a big pirate on Youtube and uploaded 5,000 Ariel Rebel videos all those videos would be disabled after they are suspended without you having to send 5,000 DMCA requests.I have nothing against tube sites and pornhub, I don't mind wearing their shirts. The difference between Manwin's tube properties and Youtube is that Manwin has no such policy. Instead they seem to go to great lengths to make it tedious for the content owner forcing them to have to constantly play whack-a-mole. Many have suggested to Fabian that he implement three strikes but to dae as far as I know it has never been done.
I'm actually a fairly reasonable person. Believe it or not but I even have sites which accept user uploads. But like I said the failure of Manwin to implement three strikes along with all the games to justify it suggests to me that they are purposely profiting off of the theft of your content.Last edited by signupdamnit; 10-21-2012, 05:52 AM.

I’m still trying to wrap my brain around why someone would want to join a site when they can get it for free. If I needed to go to the jack room and back off, there’s plenty of free current content out there for my 15 minutes of fame. Hell, the content is out there as soon as it's released, so no new updates on your site, no need to join.
I can adapt to that.
