My sites are constantly down. I am sending support tickets all the time. In this moment, my main site is down, and it is second one that is fucked up today. And guess what. God knows how many of them are down, this is something other webmasters report to me.

And now I know why there is are no enough clicks on end of the day.

I got a shared account with them and have never seen that error. Ask them to move you to another server.

this is first time that main site went down. usually, smaller ones are going down. Like it happened today.
Is there some software to check sites automatically and their up time?

Been with them for around 10 years now, had dedicated+VPS and yes some downtime has happened, but overall one of the best hosts around.

I'm sorry your having problems like this, but for me support and help has never been more then an email away, and quickly answered I might ad.

somewhere in your control panel youll see that you have high loads,
the problem with amerinoc, 1k uniques on 1 wordpress = high load
had the same issue a month ago constantly..
moved all blogs to a vps , quadruppled my traffic and google love , no issues any more

dont use their shared accounts when u expect more then 1k uniques on your wordpress .

I have the same o similar problem with them in a reseller package. Lots of tickets without a good resolution... Finally they told me that max_connection_limit = 50 for each mysql user, but I can confirm that when one of the different users in the reseller account reached the max_connection_limit all the other (and innocent) users were afected by the same problem, so all Wordpress and scripts that depended from MySql were down.

Every screenshot he posted was of error connecting to database, chances are he's running 29 instances of wordpress all with tons of plugins installed, and getting small traffic on them all, his $4.95/mo shared hosting plan can't handle 29 sites getting 150 hits each a day doing 52 queries every pageload, it's killing his mysqld.

He just doesn't know what the fuck he's doing and all AmeriNOC is doing is restarting mysqld for him.

Learn to optimize and fix your shitty fucking Wordpress installs and stop fucking blaming a host for your negligence.

I do have also hostgator and most of my sites are there. I've went to Amerinoc after people here started screaming how godaddy hosting is bad. ...but I never had problems like this witht them, and sites were much more visited.

Just to clear some things up as threads like these do more damage than good.
In order to keep shared hosting reliable for all users, there are limits on each user account to keep one user from hogging up the servers resources. This is not the server going down, this is only the $9.95 account you are on being limited. Our terms states :

"1.1. Shared Hosting Usage Terms - Our shared hosting plan utililizes CloudLinux technology. If your account should consume more than 25% of the CPU, Memory or Disc I/O resources at any given time your site will begin to be restricted to prevent other sites on the server from being effected. This technology also allows us to quickly know what site is using heavier resources so we can determine what the cause is and help advise the client what may need to be fixed or to decide if they need to upgrade their account to a private VPS or Dedicated plan if their site(s) are continuing to grow. Our goal is not to penalize or shut down any one site or account, but rather to protect all users and sites hosted in a shared environment. "

Within a few minutes of your original support ticket this morning you were given a couple of options to fix this, one by moving to a VPS.

I have a number of dedicated servers and shared packages with them. I've never had a problem. They treat me very well.

I'm not trying to belittle your concerns... It seems that some people (like me) who have been with Phat/Amerinoc for a decade or so have few problems, whereas others complain a lot.

A little disconcerting, actually...

I actually get almost instant support. Literally, I get replies to my concerns within seconds and - usually - repairs take a few minutes at most (unless I REALLY messed up).

Still, I can't imagine using anyone else. Amerinoc and DirectNic have taken VERY good care of me for a VERY long time.

Amerinoc has been great for me! All shared hosting of any host has resources limits no matter how "unlimited" they are, and wp is a resource hog. You can look at it a good way that you tapped out the shared plan, though. Means your sites are growing
