I do not work for a hosting company. I am just a fellow webmaster. I am going to tell you about my experience with Cyberwurx and you can decide for yourself.

Before them I was bouncing around many of the largest hosting companies in adult. Pretty much every one of them already mentioned in the thread and many not mentioned. I kept on having the same issue with all of them. My blogs consumed only about 2,000 gigs to 4,000 gigs of bandwidth per month, but they were running slower than shit!

The companies always told me it was because Wordpress sucks. I am thinking this has to be bullshit because Perez Hilton uses it and has hundreds of thousands of hits a day. Unacceptable. My servers all had anywhere from a single core to as many as four. No matter what the CPU load level was always at max.

A fellow blogger told me about Cyberwurx. Said they run their systems with a Linux they developed themselves. I made the switch. No big deal really. I had switched 6 times in 2 years so I was getting real good at it now. Sadly.

My load level went from an average of 3.xx and 7.xx to only .1x. I thought something was broken! I panicked. They assured me all was fine. Told me to load my sites using proxies from around the world. It always loaded. And it did it fast.

Let me tell you about load levels. If you have 1 core it should be running at less than 1.00 or else it is overloaded. If you have 2 cores it is 2.00 and with 4 cored it should run less than a 4.00 load or it is overloaded. So one load point per core.

My old system was either barely scraping by at 3.78 or completely overloaded during peak traffic periods at 7.50. It is hard to grow when people cannot load your site or the pictures randomly show up. Or don't.

My new box was running 4 cores with a load of .14 which means it isn't even scraping the surface of what it can do. I began to notice in my Google analytics account an alarming trend. My sites were getting busier and busier.

More tips: You can get extra IPs here for 25 cents each. They will have multiple class C's. Go to the bottom of the dedicate page and they have some sweet quad core server deals. You don't need a lot of RAM. Their propitiatory Linux distro is super lean and fast. DO hit up their sales team and ask for something that is extra for free. I did and so have others that have gotten boxes with them and they almost always OK it. If not, scale it back a little and then they usually will. I got extra 2 gigs ram for free. My box doesn't even hit it though. LOL I should have asked for free IP's instead.
