    How to find out who bookmarked?

    Hello
    I was wondering if anyone knows if there is a way to track how many people have bookmarked my blogs/galleries/tubes. I can't find that info anywhere..
    I know an old school way is to find out how many IPs ping favicon.ico from IE since it only pings the favicon when the site is in the favorites, but that's not good enough..

      Using AwStats you can see this aproximately. It's asumed that people that come to your site without a referer set by the browser, clicked a bookmark or entered the URL by hand.

              That's a bad assumption, since some popular anti-virus solutions strip referrers

                  hard to know is it typein or bookmark without some "ref info" carried by browser

                      you could set cookie, if cookie_age>1 day and no referer = bookmark

                                      its light and doesnt require db.

                                      then install incoming tracker in your site/s header.

                                      it shows counts.

                                      TE3 sets a special "bookmark cookie" for each visitor of your web site with an expiration date of 30 days. If a visitor with the "bookmark cookie" returns
                                      to your web site in the next 30 days, without being referred from somewhere, he is counted under "Bookmarks" system trade. Basically
                                      "Bookmarks" are "No referrers" with "bookmark cookie" already set from their previous visit.
                                      now you can hit the Thanks button.
