I figured a way to make maccaroni & cheese without using cheese!
Try this... cook your maccaroni in a sauce pan, squirt in some Deep South mustard while it cooks... strain it... then take a half a container of frozen squash from the frozen foods section that has already defrosted... mix it into the noodles... the noodles will heat up the squash... add some oil, LOTS of salt... The salt helps to trick you into thinking it's Mac N Cheese...
Wow, now you got a easy healthy alternative to the all too famous fatty Mac N Cheese -- and the squash makes it look just like cheese! Warning I'm not a cook -- just a mad food scientist. |
