Ziggo Dome looks like an impressive venue. Did you manage good seats?Comment

It's new. Haven't been there yet. I was too late picking up a ticket so now i had to buy it off someone else. So not much choice really.
I did some searching and found people talking about how my seat (or at least that area) had a very good view of the stage. So i should be fine

Awesome. Seen them 3x at Madison Square Garden and each show kicked ass. Also still pissed about how a stupid blackout caused me to miss a show in Montreal one year. All flights were canceled.

definitely one of my favourites. Saw them for the first time with REM in buffalo that's still one of the best shows i've ever gone to, and i've been to a lot.

I love live concerts, just not when then are that big. You can recreate the experience by putting your telly at the bottom of your garden with a DVD of your fave band on, putting your speakers face down on your carpet, waiting two hours to get a glass of shit beer for a fiver and then taking 3 hours to get out of the car park.
And you save 100 bucks too!Comment

Actually a band that's for well over ten years on my ''to explore' list, never dedicated time to get into their music.
It's like Tarkovskij movie or something, you have it in your collection but then for most of the days you're too tired to percieve.Need hosting, cloud, CDN or solutions for your AI? Haven't seen them since 2001/2002, but they put on some of the most interesting live shows I have ever seen. Enjoy!AIM - thePardovich

They are on my list of bands I would like to see. Though, I am also not thrilled with huge venues but there are some bands you are just never going to see any other way.Comment
-
I prefer smaller venues but the sound and lights really added something extra. Something you won't get in smaller places.Comment

their last few albums are hard to get into. Even more if you never listened to their older stuff.
A good introduction to their newer stuff would be this performance i think:

Sitting next to me was this older lady. I think about 50-52, short grey hair, glasses. I didn't pay much attention to her. I just thought her teenage son is getting a few drinks.
Turned out she was alone. And probably the biggest Radiohead fan that evening haha.
Maybe i'm just weird but it gave me so much joy to see a woman her age enjoying the show THAT much. She was smiling throughout the whole concert and clapped so loud after every song!Comment

If she is in her early 50's then she would have been in her 30's when they hit the scene. She just stuck with them.Sitting next to me was this older lady. I think about 50-52, short grey hair, glasses. I didn't pay much attention to her. I just thought her teenage son is getting a few drinks.

I saw them live 3 times, all memorable
Ok Computer Tour was the best hands down, they play all the album almost
THe sounds, the light, the vibes were amazing..
It was my best show all time (and god knows ive seen hundreds and hundreds of huge band)
Roger Waters just raise the bar recently.. but ya OK Computer i remember that night, i had to check my feet at one point to be sure i wasnt levitate, seriously... and ya i cry like a girl
I also had the chance to see them in a small venue (1000 peoples) were the Montreal symphonic orchestra plays... second row, awesome show,,, they played new material to test, plus old stuff like Paranoid Android (omg) and Exit music From a film (omfg) my 2 favorites sounds..
I also saw them in a huge outside festival... was amazing too..
I love this band, ya they have change, they are weird, but at least their not pop-corrupted like most of popular bandsComment
