I just picked up a 5d mark lll body. What's your favorite lens for video?

To shoot it well you have to approach it like shooting a movie ,no zoom lens.

i think those are the 2 common ones, for video the 70-200mm seems more popular (but dont use in small rooms)

My favorite lens for videos have become old Canon and Vivitar FD lenses.

I've got an adaptor to fit them all on both my Canon bodies and my Sony FS100.

Got an entire set of Canon FD primes for under $200.
