Shot the always gorgeous Aaliyah Love last week for Twistys. Never been much of an available light shooter but for this set that's all that I used. Shot at ISO 1250 with a Canon 5D body & 24-105mm lens. Hope ya' like........

I like natural light but I usually get too much noise so I steer away from it. How is Neat Image at full res? Soften the image up much?

Neat Image is amazing but like any plugin/effect, it can be overdone. The key to using it is to use it sparingly & tastefully. Not try to totally eliminate the noise but just tone it back a bit. I've used a few different NR plugins over the years but this one is the best hands-down! It's good and it's fast (which is important when batch processing).
I also use Neat Video for noise reduction for my DSLR shoots when I use high ISO. Nothing can touch it IMO for controlling noise.Comment

i use Neat Image on screen grabs - not much you can do with a poor quality screen grab, that plugin does help.
i like natural light photography better, glamour is about fantasy/illusion, it's the posters, playboy magazine and calendars i'd wack it to as a kid, fantasy women.I moved my sites to Vacares Hosting. I've saved money, my hair is thicker, lost some weight too! Thanks Sly!Comment
