    Bill O'Reilly, Jon Stewart Debate: Who Will Win?



    WASHINGTON -- Bill O'Reilly and Jon Stewart are to tangle in a sold-out mock presidential debate that's as much about laughs as about politics.

    The Fox News anchor squares off with the star of Comedy Central's "The Daily Show" Saturday in Washington. It's a chance to blow off a little steam amid a heated presidential race.

    The celebrity odd-couple have appeared on each other's programs since 2001, exhibiting actual respect for the other's opposing views. This is their first head-to-head debate.

    George Washington University will host the event, dubbed "The Rumble in the Air-Conditioned Auditorium." Half of the proceeds will go to charity.

    Unlike the debates between President Barack Obama and Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney, this one won't air on television but will be live-streamed online, for $4.95.

                          No matter which one of them "wins", its irrelevant. Stewart's sheep will say he won, while O'Reilly's sheep will say that HE won. Neither of their opinions matter to anyone who is not already a fan.

                          You might as well televise a debate between Baddog and JohnnyClips. That would probably be more interesting, actually....

                                              They both win. It's all about generating interest and getting paid for these two guys.

                                              They both appear on each other's show constantly to boost ratings for each other.

                                              Think of it like pro wrestling. John Stewart is Hulk Hogan and Bill O'Reilly is the evil Iron Sheik.
                                              You can't have the good guy without the bad guy. It's just entertainment. I don't think either guy really believes half the things they say to entertain people. It's theater.

                                                              They will both win. Jon Stewart is smart, but O'reiliey believes everything is how he sees it and won't consider other ideas. In his head he will win no matter what.

                                                              Or there's another idea. Maybe Bill O'Reilley is a character just like Stephen Colbert. I saw Jon Stewart interview him the other night and he appeared to be having alot of fun.
