Were you running off a CDN initially? We are looking at both the MojoHost/SendFast product as well as the Riverbed Stingray product suite. Love to hear more details on what your infrastructure was to start with and what improved performance you got. -
I looked at the flyer at the LA show and never really followed up with it. Looked real good on paper. would love to see a demo.
Vittle, do you ever check your icq? i left you couple message with no replies at all.

They got a demo:
http://sendfaster.com/demonstration
We installed sendfaster on the wowza video servers of tubecamgirl.com ; to measure or test speed upgrade on live cams streams it is not as easy as downloading a file... it is more a question of faith, if you're believer in sendfaster or not
However I seem to see an improvement when delivering over (slower) 3g networks on androids and iphone's, in fact past saturday I was in disco and let all friends to open tubecamgirl on phones esp. who had bad signal this seemed to stream better than before of sendfaster, but it could be it was because we was drunk.Comment

Tested this a few months back and it does seem to work very well.
The difference in download speed within usa is less noticeable than if the user is overseas.
Also it should improve the speed compared to everyone else if there is major Internet connectivity issues..
Brad do you have EU servers now ?I buy plugs

Hi Everyone
We're very excited to be sharing this great news and technology with everyone. Today, this is available from MojoHost but in the coming weeks most hosts will be distributing SendFaster also. This will likely include many of everyone's favorite hosts whom I have been in discussions with: Webair, Way3, AdultEUHost, GotWebHost, Rackco, Quadranet, Certified Hosting, Cavecreek, Leaseweb, XR Networks, Yellow Fiber and many others. All hosts with an interest to be on board should call or email me directly for paperwork. SendFaster is a software and technology company entirely separate from MojoHost.
Below is a sample client chart that makes it pretty obvious how much impact this can really have on user experience. This particular client servers diverse traffic (North America, Europe, India, Asia):

NO, they didn't do a traffic buy. This is business as usual except the client installed it during week 39.
This is an internal document I whipped up the other week and sent out to MojoHost clients and shared with many in London, Amsterdam and Prague shows.
Here is a link to a 2 page PDF that has some more client quotes and chart examples
More (technical) information and speed tests are available right on SendFaster.com. Do some speed tests and see for yourself: Global Speed Testing
I'm happy to field everyone's questions directly by phone or email and as much as applicable, also in this thread.
Whether you purchase it from SendFaster, MojoHost or any other hosting company that is re-distributing the price is just $99 per server per month. Available soon is a lower priced option for VPS customers at around $25 per month.
Have an excellent weekend everyone!

Brad that is an impressive jump in bandwidth and I bet it lead to a much higher user satisfaction. Congrats on the launch and I would love to speak to you about this.Hi Everyone

I had Mojo install it over 3 months ago and was shocked at the improvement.
Download speeds improved by 3-4x instantly, streams don't buffer, ever, and it definately leads to better retention figures.
Impressive!

Without being specific, three out of the five companies you listed are already using this technology. My question is how long until you start using it?

Impressive graph, but without knowing what infrastructure they WERE coming from, its hard to judge. Do you have any examples of customers running quality CDN's across multiple geoPOPs deriving significant improvement from this?
What about comparisons/customers that moved FROM the stingray products to SendFast? Any details/data like this makes it much easier for us to evaluate the product.
CheersComment

Mojo just upgraded the software on my box and it's been working great. Brad contacted me the other night to let me know about the upgrade and required reboot so I put a note in the Member's Area letting them know about the upgrade and to report any problems. One member was having browser issues so we troubleshot it down to IE causing the problem but this was contained in his reply before we found the cause:
"One thing I have noticed. Usually, when I download material from a website during peak usage periods, the download speed diminishes dramatically. That doesn't seem to be happening with your website. The download speed always proceeds at the maximum rate I ever observe, no matter when I start the download. Could that be part of the problem? Could your server be stopping my download because I'm taking up too much bandwidth?"
I don't mind problems like this! A great company offering another great product with great support.Comment

LOL what an issue"One thing I have noticed. Usually, when I download material from a website during peak usage periods, the download speed diminishes dramatically. I got sendfaster for cam streams but these are capped (limited) on the source by model's upstream, normally no more than 100-150kbps for 640x480's, so it is not as easy to benchmark as am uncapped zip download. I made some test in 1920×1080 streams with a cam studio (cute but needs an at least 24 inch monitor and full screen mode to appreciate, or it looks same as 640x480 in windowed mode or small screens...), maybe this size would make a difference with sendfaster, but does not permits to splitcam many sites without slow down everywhere, and cam studios are greedy to send video to 3-5 sites at once, not to one only - so I think 640x480 will keep standard for a while.Comment

Good question and it's hard to say for sure. I have seen an increase in traffic from AdWords but I can't see how that would be related.
My Members are extremely happy with the speed. I needed a product like this because my HD videos are approximately an hour long and are 2GB+.Comment

MojoHost
Test Complete. On Average, SendFaster took 1882 miliseconds to download, while the unaccelerated TCP took 3105 miliseconds, making SendFaster 165% as fast as unaccelerated files.
Leaseweb
Test Complete. On Average, SendFaster took 517 miliseconds to download, while the unaccelerated TCP took 531 miliseconds, making SendFaster 103% as fast as unaccelerated files.
SecuredServers
Test Complete. On Average, SendFaster took 1204 miliseconds to download, while the unaccelerated TCP took 3651 miliseconds, making SendFaster 303% as fast as unaccelerated files.
Look at the Leaseweb speeds - WOW....
It would be interesting to see those results from the US.Comment
