    Dear Paul, we are only getting 1:62 with one of our paysites. Can you help improve?



    Hi Paul,

    We are distraught that we can only get 1:62 when you've said that anything worse than 1:1 is no good.

    Your valuable insight is desperately needed.

    This was taken right from the NATS admin that shows an overview when you login. It reflects all traffic, both good and bad, both in-house and affiliate.

    I hope you're not sleeping right now because we really need your advice!

                                                                  Conversions can rely very heavily on samples these days. If the content isn't great, not good. Yet it looks like his stuff is good in terms of pictures, videos we don't know. Also a lot of satisfied customers will return, via links out there or bookmarks. Then there are people talking about his content on forums or to other gay friends. Isn't word of mouth working now?

                                                                  He asked me and I'm telling him I can only comment on his content. I've looked at the tours and made comments.

                                                                                  We do not shoot that, that is shot by the owners of the site. Our programs are a mix of owned by us (e.g., GayLifeNetwork.com), owned with others and fully managed for others so they can focus on what they do best, shooting their content.

                                                                                  As for whether to include previews or not, some sites have them, some sites don't. It's all about testing various tours to see what works best with that individual site. Some convert better with previews so they have them. Some convert better without previews so they don't have them. It's all about the analytics.

                                                                                  We are in the middle of updating a lot of tours though. We've perfected one that seems to be magical and are going to further test that theory.

Maybe his content is badly shot Russian teens, no sound, no talking, no lead in, emotion and shot from bad angle.                                                                                                                                                                               The lack of any samples has to lose some surfers. They are simply too wary today. Putting up one sample and leaving it there will do little to hurt and a lot to improve surfer confidence. Leaving the same scene on a site for years means if it's ripped off it's only one scene. And with boys looking this young it will attract a lot of traffic and sign ups. For no cost.

                                                                                                                                                                              Also some of the settings look like the shooter isn't making much. As Epitome is in the US, I don't think these are US boys. Under fed Russians more like it. Tell the shooter to either rent real apartments or get his studio to look more like an apartment. This is not doing the content justice. Pay him more to set up better settings.

                                                                                                                                                                              Also it looks like there's a lot of scenes in the site, how many videos, images sets, updates, models, etc. Tell people exactly what they're getting for the $30 a months,

                                                                                                                                                                              Anyone think showing a sample, the setting of the scenes and telling surfers what they're getting. Is a bad idea, then go tell all the sites that do it, they are wrong.
