Without bothering to point out the error of that comment, what does that have to do with anything? The only thing I can guess is that you have no idea what the topics are.

    Tonight: domestic policy
October 16: foreign and domestic policy
    October 22: foreign policy

So, how does religion fall into these categories?

I have no idea BD... just what the peeps I speak with from out of the country tell me. I avoid video news and only scan headlines on the web and read what I think is interesting.

personally I don't care for Obama as I think is dishonest and hates 'whitey' however that doesn't mean he doesn't have a few good ideas for getting the US back on track, but then again with all the bipartisan BS not much anyone can do...

I do believe both candidates will resort to 'show biz activity' during the debate though.... "let's get the language down and we'll sort out the reality later"

There will be no winner and the loser will be the American people. The moderator will not ask any significant questions, the candidates will not directly examine their opponent's answers or have any kind of constructive dialog - because back in 1998 the two political parties took control of the debate format and locked down the rules so that neither candidate can 'lose.'

It was so underhanded and sleazy that the National League Of Women Voters refused to sanction the debates or be involved with them any longer after decades of overseeing the fairness of REAL debates. They made the correct assertion that the debates are now a joint attempt to defraud the American public, put on by two political parties as a stage show rather than a real discussion of what should be done to improve our nation.

"It has become clear to us that the candidates' organizations aim to add debates to their list of campaign-trail charades devoid of substance, spontaneity and honest answers to tough questions," Neuman said. "The League has no intention of becoming an accessory to the hoodwinking of the American public."

I would suggest traveling to other countries rather than rely on the opinion of a few. You think we are more religious than Israel, Saudi Arabia, Iran, Iraq . . . anywhere in the middle east? How about we are the most Christian based nation? That I would agree with.

Did you know that it was legal in Germany to ask what religion a prospective employee is? Did you know that they could refuse (and likely will) if you answer wrong? I was surprised as well when looking over employment applications. Better be a Catholic in some villages.

              Yeah, so what?

I also don't take welfare, I also don't get food stamps, I don't receive public housing assistance, I'm not on the dole in any way.

That's not the argument I'm having.

If the government wants to spend money to help the poor, that's fine by me - it's when the government squanders the money on the rich, causing the economy to collapse, and then people are convinced they should blame the poor for the problems, that's my problem with your position. That's my problem with Fox Noise, and that's my problem with right wing radio.

so I work 80-90 hours a week... how much do I owe people that do not work? how many hours... already paying over 30% tax on my net and that doesn't include all the tax I pay on transactions..... what's your thinking?

BTW have you been offered welfare? have you lost everything and started over at 45? did you go to school? just wondering what kind of a guy you are...

and I agree with spending the money wisely HOWEVER giving money to a person that has never had a job won't get a job and demands a big screen TV... nope...

think they should drug test peeps on the 'dole'?

                        Obama will provide good answers.

Romney will offer shit, stuffed with talking points and zingers (see http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/1...elections-2012)

Obama won't zing back. He'll just stand there letting the facts speak for themselves, keeping his composure.

Romney will sweat bullets all night. He will probably have the shits, worried about any squeakers that may be picked up by the microphones.

After its over Fox News and the Gop will congratulate him on the supposed beat-down. He'll go home, kick the help around for some stress relief, go to bed still sweating, worried, unsure. Sleep will not come to him for some time.

Obama will go home, give his wife Michele a President-Kennedy-quality shag, share a blunt and pass out, happy as fuck.

                        Obama 2012!

No, I don't think ANYONE should be drug tested - I believe in actual freedom.

Bottom line: if you?re a Fortune 500 company or a member of the wealthiest 1%, you?re getting welfare, and a hell of a lot of it.

If you?re one of the dreaded entitlement crowd ? which, if you include social security and Medicare, is the vast majority of the remaining 99% -- you?re getting chicken feed, and the Republicans want to take even this meager sustenance away.

                          Let?s run the numbers.

Corporate Subsidies: We spend $59 billion on social welfare programs, but more than $92 billion on corporate subsidies. According to the Environmental Law Institute, fossil fuel industries alone get more than $70 billion in subsidies, with most going to the oil and gas sector. Yeah, we certainly can?t afford to deprive Exxon of its record profits just to give money to needy kids.

Sheltering Off-Shore Profits: Corporations are given $58 billion a year in tax breaks for ?deferred? taxes for off shore profits. Yep. Sure want to encourage US companies to hide profits off-shore. Can you say ?job creators??

Capital gains: Rich folks make the majority of their money in the form of dividends and capital gains, which are taxed at only 15%. This allows them to avoid some $59 billion in taxes per year.

Carried interest: Hedge fund managers avoid at least $2.1 billion in taxes a year. This sweet deal ? not available to the ninety-nine percenters, by the way ? lets hedge fund managers and other selected fat cats take what amounts to ordinary wages and have them taxed as if they were capital gains. So instead of being taxed at 35% (39.5% if we eliminate Bush?s tax cuts for the rich) it?s taxed at 15%. Ayn Rand would be proud. Thomas Jefferson, not so much. This amount ? $2.1 billion ? is roughly equivalent to the entire budget for the Administration on Aging. Wouldn?t want to deprive millionaire and billionaire hedge fund managers of their windfall just to help a lot of old geezers.

Bank Bailouts: Then there?s the $700 billion bank bailout ? to rescue banks from problems they themselves created. Yes it got paid back; and yes, we had to do something. But the reason this money was little more than welfare was because the banks got to do what they wanted to with it. It could have come with strings ? we could have insisted that they write down mortgages to market value or allowed refinancing at lower interest rates or longer amortization periods. We could even have given the money directly to stressed homeowners, instead of the banksters who caused the problem. Any of these approaches would have prevented defaults, slowed ? or even reversed ? the precipitous declines in real estate values, and given low and middle income consumers some ability to consume, which, at the end of the day is the real ?job creator.? And we most certainly could have insisted that banks money loan out the money to small businesses and home buyers. (source)

I had a settlement from the lawsuit against paramount that allowed me to pay rent for a bit and find a client and start shooting... made $640 the first month did 60K my first year.

I decided to stop shooting in 2009. xmass 2009 I had an empty 2 bedroom apartment and $100. had to sell all my gear to buy food and drive models for the agencies...

some people are earners Richard, some aren't. doesn't matter what opportunities or hand outs you give them.
