Ok let me try and answer this one...

We pay the model for a full days work £350-£400 plus travel (so am guessing thats around $600-700) We hire an apartment which sets us back another £120 ($180-200)

We have the model for 8 hours... now depending the level we're shooting, will depend how many scenes you can shoot (each scene being a video and pic set)

This shoot was hard solo, some with toys and some with fingers only. We comfortably shot 8 scenes in that time. I think it's a push to shoot more when you shoot to this level, mainly based on the model and the fact the human body can only take so much lol...

We shoot with a Canon Eos 50D... we use two elincrome 600S lights, mainly bouncing one off the ceiling and another as a head/back light...

I am not massively technical when it comes to lighting, certainly no JEDI !

Of course we shot matching video, and yes your right it is pretty much all about video, unlike when I first started where I believe pics were equally as prominent, as things have evolved, the surfer demands more... both in the content and the delivery of that content...

Anyone who can focus a camera should be able to pull a frame or three from a set and post them on GFY and get bro love. I've seen the sets of some of the top shooters, or so called here, and they are just a few good shots. Which is useless to members buying the content.

A girl will never be able to deliver 8 decent scenes in 8 hours. She will get bored, tired, worn out and go on auto pilot. For a shooter it's tough enough. 8 hours of pure work is simply too much for shooter or girl. mainly based on the model and the fact the human body can only take so much lol...

Moving lights, dressing, showering, make up, breaks between sets, etc are going to whittle it down.

Of course you may prove me wrong and I will admit to being wrong, if you can show me the days work. Until then, I have to rely on what I, Eva, Katka and loads of other shooters have been capable of doing.

You have a paysite, give me a pass to it and I will be honest.

It has nothing to do with traffic being golden, it's about what surfers get for their $30.

We rarely shot anything but quickie videos for sites, we shot for better paying outlets and sold the content to sites as well.

So shooting for sites demands less than shooting for better paying markets, we agree on that.

So no need to show videos, we know why you don't.

As you said some are "filler" not sure what you mean by that. I assume you meant not very good.

As I said, give me a login and let me see, I can download them and show them for you. I'm sure by now you'll get tons of bro love votes.

This isn't about you, it's about most content shooters who have to shoot on a tight budget or newbies. It takes time to get to know how to direct models to deliver a good scene, they can't do it if they're rushed. Shooting with HD and wide screen takes great lighting and framing, capturing a girls emotions as she strips and masturbates isn't easy.

Then it takes time, girls can't do this 4/5 times a day. It's just too much for them. Also they can't walk from room to room and do a new scene every time, it often ends up as the same scene in a different room and clothing. That's what you get when you have to get scenes out at £62.50 a piece.

It's not your fault, it's the fault of this industry thinking content is worth that.

We dont shoot top end stuff, but then neither do 90% of people out there... and not being funny, but I include you in that 90%...

We shot for magazines first, then put that work on the stores, then sites and we sold to DVD companies. At that we were pretty well on our own during the great years, when most here were stuck with shooting for less money and losing ownership of it.

We usually sell on a semi exclusive basis, this includes keeping one license for our own paysites (yes we run paysites too) Most packages that we sell have between 10 and at the most 20 licenses...

So it's not unlimited sales, like some content which gets sold dirt cheap hundreds or thousands of time...

I have to say when I started we'd always sell a bunch of licenses straight off the bat, but like most things in the industry right now that's not the case...

Did you see the scene I shot for Manwin, not bad for an sick old timer and surfers loved it. Can anyone and the model shoot 8 of those a day? No bloody way.
