Cool. Thanks.

Overall, how is it better then the original system installed on the device? I mean may be Android 4 needs more resources in general ...

Wonder if I can upgrade Android 2.2.2 on my Samsung Galaxy Q to the newest Android.. Not sure that this can be done though. Unless if I root my phone maybe it could be possible.

I have an old Galaxy S from Sprint that runs Android 4.1

Which variation do you have?

Check XDA-Developers.com for all the specifics.

I would have held on to my phone for a few more months. It ran like new with an up to date version of Android.

My iPhone 5 will likely be traded in for a Galaxy S 4 when it comes out.

I can't find any info on upgrading a Samsung Galaxy Q with Android 2.2.2 froyo to 4.1 jellybean. The Galaxy Q is like the black sheep. Not much info on it since it came out some time in 2011 and now there are much newer phones.

of course, the internal memory of my phone is low (I mean the actual memory that the phone has) so an upgrade to even Honeycomb (3.0) might make the phone slower or use up even more of the internal memory. Of course, I believe oneycomb is for tablets anyway so scrap that. haha
