    When it comes to screen time, certain parenting quandaries are more difficult to solve than others. Perhaps the biggest concern for any parent of a teenager with a WiFi connection is how to talk about porn if -- or when -- your child sees it online.

          My dad left Playboy mags in the bathroom. They were right there... no hiding them or anything.

          However the Hustler mags were bit towards the bottom ;)

                  And WTF does he keep talking about turning a $1800 PC into a brick? A website 'virus' won't 'brick' a computer. At worst, if you're dumb enough to be running Windows, you'll have to re-install it.

                  I bet the safe sites he suggested were all tubes.

                                          THANK YOU. That is exactly what I thought. Not to mention that anybody that can piece together who he is now has a reason to bully the kid. I mean, write it but why publish it? I also agree with Lloyd about it being stupid to publicize that you gave your kid porn.

                                              No one suggested stopping a 13 year old from seeing titties, but last I heard, kids were not our target demographic.

I get that he doesn't want the kid getting malware, and 13 year olds will seek out or find porn by themselves, but to go out of your way to find 'safe' porn sites for a 13 year old just seems to be taking things a bit far. Creepy even.

                                                              Since they omitted the sites, and since most internet porn is a lot stronger than the anecdotal 'dad's-stash-of-Hustler' variety, I found the sites the father deemed acceptable for his 13 year old to visit. As I half-joked, they're all tube sites:

                                                                  I remember I ordered porn on pay-per-view when I was a kid and didn't realize it would show up on the cable bill.

                                                                  My dad found out and had a talk with me about it but then as he was leaving my room he says "You could have at least let me know you ordered it so I could have enjoyed it on the TV upstairs!"
