    Ever Really Got A Webmaster Referral Payment?

    I've been doing this for several years and I've NEVER gotten paid for a webmaster referral. You know those programs that claim to pay $200, etc., once a webmaster becomes active...yadda, yadda, yadda? Well, I guess muthaf'ers aren't becoming active...lol

      I have gotten many of them from many programs. Some have been significant dollar amounts over the years.
      It should come as no surprise that the same programs who can be trusted to send standard payouts are also
      the ones you can trust with wmref payouts.

          I don't spam webmaster referral links and even I sometimes get webmaster referrals. Never ever from someone offering $200 or $300 per webmaster. That seems unlikely to me especially in these times. Then again I can't say much because I tend not to promote that style of program. When someone claims they will pay me $300 per surfer or webmaster join I usually just smile and laugh and promote someone else. I'm sure there are some exceptions though. For instance isn't NATS paying something like $500 per affiliate program referral? I might trust that because it could be worth it to them to pay. But I'm not going to rely on paying my mortgage with that income stream either...

              I used to get some nice wm ref checks back in the day from a lot of the same programs that are still around today. Granted, most of the sales came from 1-2 accts, the majority of wm's who signup for programs don't become active.

                  You should promote plugrush as they do pay. Plus in your stats it tells you when they sign up under you as well as when they last loged in.

                  Also ccbill pay 'x'% on webmaster referals. So often its worth promoting some ccbill sites.

                  Those seem most effective to be honest.

                              Over the years I have gotten a few. The best one, oddly enough, was AFF. Back in 1999,2000 I showed a handful of people how to make some killer text ads that pulled clicks like crazy. A few of them used them and made some nice money with them. I got a couple hundred a month in referral checks for a few years from that.

                                  There are *ahem* SOME people who strictly get paid from webmaster referrals and collect a percentage of what their hard working friends bring in. A popular person can seriously cash out with just referrals. I know this to be true for several people.

                                          Carbon is not the problem, it makes up 0.041% of our atmosphere , 95% of that is from Volcanos and decomposing plants and stuff. So people in the US are responsible for 13% of the carbon in the atmosphere which 95% is not from Humans, like cars and trucks and stuff and they want to spend trillions to fix it while Solar Panel plants are powered by coal plants

                                              Never on the $200+ PPS ones, but pretty much every month for the past dozen years or so on various revshare ones. I've always preferred revshare, so that is probably a factor.

So much in fact that I stopped promoting them to others becuase I just saw other people taking sales I could be making.

                                                                                                  I have gotten wmref from NATS, they pay immediately... But that's for referring programs to use their software, not for consumer joins.

                                                                                                                  It's happened at least 3 times where I've had to mail the program to claim the $200 referral, as I knew the guy I referred and knew he had made enough sales to give me the referral payout.

                                                                                                                  Btw I remember back in the days of ARS, they would pay you an instant $20 for every webmaster referral. I was referring every newbie webmaster I was chatting with on irc back then

                                                                                                                              There was one program.. that had 4free somewhere in the name.. where I joined and sent my referral link to my friend who joined and made a bunch of sales. Even after speaking to very nice and well known reps on ICQ several times who confirmed the referral, I never got a single dime in referral payout.
