I am a very business minded type of person. I've had my pay site now for nearly 8 years and shooting the models is a full time job for me...and always has been since the site was launched.

I don't do much business here just farting away on the couch for some side cash. I don't much consider anything under 5-10k a month "business". Maybe lack of business is more properly termed for this guy -> :)

Don't get me wrong, I wish it were more.

For those in the staright side gfy is still number one, in my humble opinion. Maybe couple more boards that have some decent biz as well.

Maybe something along the lines:
up to 2k - side cash
2-5k - decent money
from 5-10k - business

If you post anything remotley to do with biz it gets sucked up in a huge big hole nver to be seen again. If you post dribble then it immediately gets bumped up to the top

Unfortunately its true, just look, for instance, at threads made by peterk on the first page of main forum. And how many replies they get. When you see business thread it barely gets 10 posts.

mineistaken, thank you for clarifying that a little for helterskelter! I said a number that I DO is not business in my opinion. It's not enough to even live so it's not business in my opinion especially if I am not focused enough to shut the TV off at night. The number is way lower than 5k. Not even in the decent cash range. :) And it's relative to where you reside too. Say in a metropolitan area in US or even Australia 2k may not even pay the rent. But on some island or 3rd world it may go further than one could imagine.

Where did you ever hear me say that $5-10k is not business. Quite the contrary, I'd have to say that being able to pull in $60 - $120k a year is certainly a business and one that I would love to own as well.

I often work upwards of 20 hours per day, including weekends. It's hard to find time to be here often, at least publicly. I find more business is done through ICQ than anywhere else.

I'm not sure why working upwards of 20 hours a day would cause you to think I'm a failure. I love my work, I love being creative, and not one of those 20 hours feels like a job to me.
