I kinda think they went out of their way to make the picture look aesthetically unpleasing. I think it was a choice.

I think the point was to not have it looking professional, and show her just like any other person.

The project that she launched in conjunction with the release of the pics, A Body Revolution 2013, is really pretty neat, I think. I was on it a bit last night, and saw cancer patients, people with birth defects, etc, putting themselves out there. That is hard to do in a society that judges us if we are not perfect.

There are so many people on there that I think look perfectly fine who have totally distorted self-images. Of course, what I think doesn't matter. They are all perfectly fine.
