Gumification of porn

Looking at Damian's post, I realise he has something that porn can utilise to improve joins, make the site stickier and reward members. Just making it serious and getting away from the webmaster thinking into porn thinking.

Firstly it needs a forum. From the members area people can post in threads or create threads. All to be approved and edited by the administrator.

The threads are users views of the videos, models and the whole site. On some site if the include multi combination, for instance; Solo, Lesbian or Hardcore these to can have a forum So it will need three or more forums within the forum. Like GFY has.

Members are asked to post reviews, comments, observations and ideas for the videos, models or site. In fact anything they wish. The admin will approve or not and edit the post to SEO the post.

Motivation will be in terms of a prize/rewards. The prize is Multi choice and rated on performance. For Instance.

Every approved post gets a point. Number of words are also point related. Also each link from a poster is like an affiliates, if he gets a join off the link, he gets points.

100 points = Free lube, or months free membership, or autographed picture of a porn star.

200 points = Years membership, or scene shot for the member to his needs, or live webcam with a model, or phone call from a model, 1-1 on Skype.

1000 points = Dinner and a night out with a porn star.

Just suggestions on the prizes. The site can decide that for itself.

Kick it off with some posts of your own.

It could be run by an affiliate who is good and capable.

It gives the site SEO forum with lots of posts and shows the site is well attended.

Could even be done with Roald at Freeones with a partnership. Just needs sponsor and forum owner to get together and sort out the mechanics.

It treats adults like adults and gives real interest and interaction between the member and the site.

I can't be bothered so no silly replies on that. I don't need to bother.

It's up to sponsors to take the idea and improve on it.

You know, this is not a bad approach by any means. I have run a couple of niche-based forums which did very well in Mainstream and there is no reason that this plan would not work for dirty picture sites.

Moderation would be required though, so a few people would have to be found such that there is a moderator on active duty 24/7 or the forum would soon go to shit because of Xrumer and Scrapebox postings.

The mechanics would be a licensed copy of VBulletin, a tolerant host and intelligent ADMIN and moderators.

Frequent updating of CAPTCHA is also required to try and I mean try to stay ahead of the auto-posters.

Any porn sponsor which would not go along with this idea isn't smart enough to be in the business. Put up a dozen of so of these and watch the cash roll in!

I know, it's tricky for you to recover. So many lies, so many years. I mean Magic Join Links are a standard joke now, based on when you lied about how many sales your site was getting. It's hard for you.

You bet, guys have a habit of bragging about girls since the stone age. Now multiply it by 100s. Think about the sales opportunities for you and affiliates.

Clicking on a link is not going to work. Writing comments under a girls show/scene is too restricted to members. This takes it up to a better level.

Will it work on a small site where people are just happy to download the lot and get out? No way and these can ignore or ridicule it.

People have been posting adult pics of themselves/their wives since the 1990s. Many of them ended up starting paysites.

That's what I thought when I saw Damian's post. It's a basic reward in return for something process which is nothing new or revolutionary. It's been done for a long time and in many ways and has now appeared in Gamification with games.

Adapting a very old idea to porn and adults is all that's needed. Doesn't need a film where people click on links or a game. The crunch is working out the rewards and what people must do to achieve one.

Can it be programmed that only members of the site can post? This plus Askimet will stop a lot, I just found Damian posting on my blog. Easy to edit. Now can I use this idea to boost stories or comments from people?

We thought about that one yes, not sure how to run it yet though. Doing it for 1 site might be overkill while doing it for a niche together with a bnch of sites might work out better.

Cost of a hooker $150 to $1,500. It can be more or less, only putting a tag on it.

Middle the costs.

Now what is a member expected to do to get those level of rewards? Even at the bottom level of a street walker in the front seat is going to cost $50. Or are they cheaper?

Yes you can see why I thought it was a game, the blog says the word 50 times and is talking about a game or activity for a reward. Big fucking deal like that's a new idea.
