Which page of the thread is where opinions about the video starts rolling in? I tried to find it, but after 20 minutes reading I gave up, lol

The comments were few. The trolls had nothing bad to say so nothing to say. someone commented the scene needed a rose in it, another the leather sofa was not expensive enough and another that I didn't put the toys behind the sofa.

I tried to keep to the MOFO's genre of porn starish productions. Sandra talked and teased the audience in the scene, so not a dumb model doing the same old moves. Her teasing had effect IMO. It was on a free tube and got nice votes until puled down.

IMO it wasn't a great scene. Out of work and practice for 3 years and having low stamina restricted me. The editor for reasons that have never been explained cut the intro and ending.

I'm sure today I could do better, would need to practice a bit first. Anyone got $3,000?

The point few will get into their heads and people like Dean make stories up to cover the truth. Isn't that I'm better at the technical side as some are. Or better at the porn side, though against many I am. It's that I worked in a market purely as a content producer that out paid all the markets my critics worked in.

Now they were free to do what I did, shoot some rolls of film of a cute girl, take it to a magazine and earn $3,000 a set and maybe more. They were free to do both online custom and offline non exclusive. So why didn't they?

Not good enough businessmen to sell their work in other markets?

Couldn't afford to wait 6 months to get paid, like $250 for the model is going to cripple them.

Didn't know the phone number of the magazines. They couldn't pick up a magazine and get it.

Dean would of been up against Steve Hicks and Viv Thomas, no way in the world is he going to compete with them on a consistent basis. Yes he has started to get work. How many years after he went freelance? Some would of been up against me, so why didn't they work for people who paid more than online?

I know the truth that applies to most. They couldn't find brand new cute girls, shoot 120 frames of her to the requirements magazines demanded. They got girls from agents or had worked and already been shot by magazine shooters. They never covered enough poses, missed many of the killer shots and got many poses and looks from the girl wrong. I've seen their sets in sites and in the offices of magazine editors. Any shooter with balls can put his work, the whole set, up for everyone to see. I will happily say I got it wrong if the prove me wrong.

I had to learn the hard way, by getting my work rejected. Editors knew I had some talent and sat me down to tell me how to improve. They wanted new shooters to select from.

I like the model, she is hot. And scene looks better than I expected, I would definitely believe its shot by their producers. Of course producers will see it differently.

I would love to see Paul with a modern setup shooting some amateur content. Its easy to pick on his older work because it was a different time and different technology.

Paul might not have the setup, the gear, the space - or even the heart - to get back into the game, but he still has that "eye". That is something you don't ever lose.

When Paul was at his peak, he was second to none. Just show a little fucking respect - its not actually that hard to do.

I agree with you all the way, Paul does know a lot about the industry also but many might not agree with his opinions. I wish I could find the thread where I posted 10 pictures I thought were hot and Paul said something about picture #6 and how the girl was not happy or something like that. I was impressed because I remember she had just gotten in an argument with her brother on the phone minutes before that picture. She does not look mad or upset to me but he read her to a tee.

I created the trolls. By not sucking up to the BS that was being churned out day after day on the boards.

2000 most of those shooting for online were simply crap compared to where I came from. A few exceptions like Alsscan existed and later Met-art. DDF illustrated perfectly the level of magazine and trained shooters.

We had people like Aaron, who is a lovely guy and now a good shooter, then he was not. Vid Vicious was good and went to work for better paying markets, the shooter at Perfect Gonzo was tempted by the money in DVD and left. They were never able to pay enough to replace him and the sites went down.

Porn is a repeat buy market, with a low quality product you lessen the chances of a repeat buy. If the impulse to buy is killed by previous experiences. Thinking it's impulse is stupid. We had an industry built on leap frogging each other on marketing the product. Which entailed giving it away.

Today we have a few sites realising the only way to separate themselves from the throng is to move to sector where the leap frog game is very hard. 12 years too late.

I always said there were better paying markets and that many of the guys shooting were not capable of getting into them. Yet some shooters were telling lies to cover the truth. They were like Romney preaching to the faithful and the mob cheered them on. How many of these shooters put up a whole set for all to see or a video?

Today the standards are far better than they were. 12 years too late. You guys got on the boat. The boat looking after affiliates.

Cue affiliates who couldn't make a living without high payouts and crutches of every type. And sponsors who couldn't buy or shoot decent content week after week.

At any time a sponsor or site owner, could of approached one of the many good shooters working offline to produce for them. How many did?

They were too busy throwing money around like a pimp at affiliates.

Don't tell us about today, it's a totally different time and was inevitable.
