Popups

Just got hit with a popup cascade that killed my comp and made me have to reboot. Fuck that shit .... I have decided to really try to get a pop killer installed.

Are there any popup killers that kill ALL popups? I don't want one that you have to configure for certian keywords etc, just one that kills every attempt at a popup regardless of what it is. Any suggestions ?

Cheers !

I haven't hit a console chain that was bad enough to crash my PC in years. I have had them crash my browser but not my PC. If it is happening to you it is probably time to upgrade dude.

The best popup killer is Admuncher. Also configurable to kill all advertising on webpages & save your page download time. Not free, but best.

Nah mate ... only got an athlon 1800 with 256 ram. Had heaps of shit running, and the window rampage killed me.

Its when you get ones which change homepages, settings, install dialers, run these wierd ass scripts etc etc. My machine turned into a candy blur of console hell.

Anyhow ... I can surf protected now so the world is one again.

You know ... the sponsor site I was checking out just lost over 10k of possible sales a month because of the console hell I was put through.

Cheers!
