New metallica album in their original style

I know someone mentioned this a few days ago but it didn't get enough publicity on gfy, this is badass. i can't wait!

"Metallica's new album 'ST ANGER', set for release in June, will be "pretty aggressive" according to drummer LARS ULRICH.
He said the band had been unfocused for much of the year-and-a-half recording process, but within the last few months rediscovered their old "heavy, dynamic" style.

Speaking to mtv.com, he explained: "We've been a lot of different places musically over the last year and a half, and a couple of months go we sort of came back around to some heavy, aggressive, fast, dynamic, a lot of tempo changes, kind of shit. And that felt really comfortable again. We hadn't done it for a while. Maybe we were keeping it at bay, whatever. All of a sudden it was like that old pair of shoes you have in the closet that you haven't worn for a while, but that felt really fucking good to have on again."

He added: "It's pretty aggressive, and the people who like that side of us will not be disappointed." "

Metallica was better when Mustaine was writing the riffs.

Hopefully, because all the stuff they released since "and justice for all" disappointed me....

heh, they've been gay for a long time. and they've prolly recognized it hopefully by now, maybe this is an attempt to rectify their past. either way, musically if they can pull it off then hell yeah.

It won't be nearly as thrash as Kill 'Em All was. I've always liked Metallica, new and old. So i'm sure whatever they release will probably be pretty good.

I'll believe it when I hear it. The last Metallica album I actually liked was Master of Puppets.

And now that Jason Newsted is playing with one of my all time favorite bands, I hope they don't start sucking too...

Lars is a fucking fluffer.

Everytime they have a press conference they have to stop every fifteen minutes to clean the bullshit off the mic.

He's not very good at drums, either

sadly you can hear mustain's riffs all through their whole discography. And metallicock has the nerve to get pissed at mp3 leechers for steeling Metalicock songs when Metalicock themselves blatantly stole mustain riffs.

ick, if "Valley of Misery" is the bootleg song, i'm very disappointed. but it could be from one of their newer albums that i've never listened to though. but it says from st. anger on the mp3.

I totally agree. Yunno Dave offered to do a combo Metallica/Megadeath band with him and the other Dave with Lars and James.

That would have been kick ass but Lars's head is so far up his own ass that he said no.

Who knows that could change!
