I don't know their structure, operations and have no experience with them but if you read the article you can see that they will now get the fullest attention in Germany about the origin of their funding, generated earnings and taxes.

Germany officially makes Manwin losses

The sheer number of performers suggests revenue of tens of millions, in the publicly available data is examined but in vain. Officially Manwin Germany makes in Germany namely losses. A loss of approximately 32,000 euros is for the fiscal year 2010 in the books.

More recent figures are not known. Employees, however, report that the company is very well off. The bosses in Hamburg would have approved in recent months whopping bonuses. "The entire management team driving company cars: A8, S5, Q7 - mainly big Audis," says a former student.

The official balance sheet figures reflect the reality at best reflected inadequate if they have anything to do with reality. Also show the internal accounts. This involves the sale of Internet currency Dirty cents at you with My Dirty Hobby paid. They show that only Manwin Germany in May, June and July each made more than 2.5 million euros.

So it could agree what to say ex-employees. They estimate the annual turnover of the Hamburg branch of around 30 million euros. To such business activity indicated in the German balance but nothing out. But where the my dirty hobby million flow then?

Million in tax revenue over funneled

It is established that is collected only once in Germany. The customer payments go to the account 0676792500 at Commerzbank Hamburg. Account holders, however, is not Manwin Germany, but a company called Colbette Holdings Limited, Cyprus. A former employee says that the hamburger try very hard to make it look as if My Dirty Hobby and would Privatamateure operated from Cyprus.

Sun bathes the Colbette Holdings not only in bank transfers for customers, but also in the imprint of the website. Stands in the accounts for the German performer: "The tax liability in Cyprus goes to the Colbette Holdings Ltd (VAT reversed).". Technicians from Manwin initiated emails to German authorities in Cyprus to server, so nobody suspected creatures, says the former employee.

His statement: "This is method million revenue from Hamburg to be funneled over to the German tax.." After all, the Colbette Holdings has an address on the Mediterranean island: Nicosia, Larnakos Avenue 33, Suite one hundred and first It is a particular address in the Manwin universe.

Actually there are two links on welt.de (published today).
Welt.de is the biggest German news site so they really are in the spot right now.

Sole shareholder and director of the holding company based in Luxembourg, is the German Fabian Thylmann. The offices in Luxembourg, however, seem deserted, although there also at least twelve subsidiaries are domiciled.
Someone get Paul Markham in here, and fast!

Robbie 09-16-2012 05:29 PM

Interestingly....Manwin moved all their servers out of New York and now have all of them at Swiftwill's servers in the Netherlands over the last week.

Either a prelude to Fabian getting even more involved in piracy or just him running scared to keep his shit safe from the U.S. govt.?

Would be really great is someone contacted Die Welt and offered an interview/s about the source of much of Fabian's content on the tubes...The articles are scathing. They want to stir up a fire. Cannot some of the old pros here help with that?

I have some contacts in Brussels. I will ask them what they think. One would think if Fabian's neighbors knew his real business they would be none too pleased.

I was talking about Fabian, not mike south. :2 cents:

I am not slamming on mike however. Homeboy has his niche, and enjoys being "the man in the know" or doing his investigations to make the world a better place. While he lays it on a bit thick at times... his heart is in the right place.

Do I think he goes overboard at times? Sure. But it's his free time. However he would like to spend it is his own prerogative. I think he does serve a legitimate function in the adult space. He is also in adult full time, versus being a beer money baron trolling GFY all day.

What baffles me is how the entertainment industry is not declaring war on Manwin for their past and present piracy associations. I don't see why a major media company would want to do any business at all with a company so involved in piracy. My theory is that they take advantage of the lack of knowledge some have as to adult industry. Manwin more than likely obfuscates and tries to present themselves as "the industry leader" based on their size and associations such as with AVN at the shows in order to convince companies that they are legitimate. I suspect most of these companies are not aware that Manwin has built their little empire primarily from piracy and on the backs of content providers in the industry.

I wouldn't be surprised if they already were under investigation by someone and that they caught wind of this.

I saw that also :winkwink:

That German article contained a tad more than i knew and dutifully added the info to the schematic i have developed. Tangled web seems a wee bit more clear.

Smoke may be rising.

Everyone is "aware". However, this is a business, not a hobby. In the end, money talks.

You've been around the adult industry and GFY long enough to have learned this lesson. You've seen it time and again with any number of different companies. Some of them going so far as to release a public statement that they would do business with them. Nothing should surprise you anymore.

People want to 'claim' they are cleaner than the next guy. They just turn a blind eye to the turd in the punch bowl.

:2 cents:

The adult industry I expect. But what puzzles me is the mainstream media industry. I do not see why people associated with the MPAA would knowingly do business with a company like Manwin which was built on and thrives on video piracy. Can you imagine Time-Warner deciding to carry "The Pirate Bay channel"?
