Once great sites are unable to find buyers, or being sold for a lot less than people think.

RK have decided it's best to leave now and might be thinking they should of left 2-3 years ago.

Ratios are going down the toilet.

AFF are being called on their debt.

Many are downsizing.

It's worth a lot less than it was 9/10/11 and more than it will be 9/10/13

Even Manwin will suffer. 1600 people costs a lot of money every day.

16 per site = 100 sites. You don't need 16 people to run most sites nor do we know they have 100 sites.

If you're talking about just webmaster duties, you'd be correct. Although to maintain 100 sites, and daily updates, you would need a decent group of people. However, they do a lot more than just webmaster duties as a company. You have content uploaders, programmers, designers, web masters, traffic or ad network guys, and so on and so forth.

To maintain 100 big and demanding sites yes. 100 porn sites?

Content can be uploaded by a computer. Text takes minutes to write. Yes boxes have to be clicked. Some of the uploaders are sponsors on the Tubes.
How many times does a program need to be written or designed?
Webmasters doing what?
Traffic sellers and ad network guys are selling a product that once bought, people keep buying. Unless it's crap.

Then are there 100 sites or is it just assumed.?

What ever. In porn they're buying up a cancer.

Surfers are now expecting porn for free and getting it. This is a growing trend, the slide will continue no matter if there are 1,000s of companies or 1. This trend cannot be stopped by us, it's too late. If Manwin turn off the supply of free porn, lots will turn it back on and surfers will follow the free porn.

crazy
on the low end average of $50,000 per year salary, that's $80,000,000 per year in payroll alone. Now tack on added payroll tax, average cost of maintaining employees per gov't regulations etc. (about $3000 per employee per year here in the states, so I'll just use that) call it all together $90,000,000 because i'm sure that i'm missing something or lowballing. That is a big nut for just payroll.

Now add accommodation, equipment, etc. Toilet paper. Look at the SQ FT of the offices and get an estimate on the rent, add services, tax, insurance energy bills. In Europe employers pay a lot in Health and Social taxes per worker. Lawyers, accountants, etc. Add the costs of the sites, promotion, etc. This is what goes out.

This is a huge expense and unless they are in the $300,000,000 level, they are losing money.

I dealt with companies employing these numbers. They were not anything we will ever see in porn.

There's too much bro love and ass kissing here with people gullible or desperate. And the haters. I do not hate Manwin, don't like what they do, but everyone gives away too much content. I don't know enough about them to hate or even dislike them.

At least it's nice to know, now that one entity owns most of it... with time, they will screw up, fuck up and drive it into the ground. This will make way for a rebuild of the industry. By then, our kids (hopefully not mine, but you catch my drift) will be running a whole new model. There will be no choice, it will happen.

It's nice to know, that possibly someplace in the future, the bubble may regrow and somebody will have a chance to reap the benefits of the market prior to "pop again".

I would estimate that the entire webcam industry generates 1 to 1.5 BILLION Dollars in revenue itself .

What you are seeing is vertical integration in the paysite industry. I won't offer my opinion on these events because I have no inside knowledge. However, the writing has been on the wall for years -- some here have commented on it in depth.

We're not even taking into account all the aquisitions. They have been non-stop. Granted from what I can cobble together they are doing money down and then payments til paid off, but imagaine the kind of debt load they are carrying.......must be staggering at this point.

Assuming this is a porn company.

Time? I give 5 years before they start to shed staff big time.

They don't need to screw up it's screwed up already. Anyone got figures, that mean something, that less or more per 1,000 are buying porn? Any type. I asked about ad rates on Tube sites and it was a good question. It was ignored because it was me asking. This is the key to many people's survival. https://gfy.com/showthread.php?t=1080901

This also will drive the porn industry down to basement level.

The only way the porn industry can be rebuilt is if free porn is illegal.

Your kids will be watching porn for free paid for the remaining sites that can.

This of course is the best part scenario.

The only thing that will save online porn is if advertising gets too expensive to support Tube sites. Otherwise clowns will keep telling us traffic is king and Manwin have all the traffic.

A mainstream billing company would be a good idea. A porn one, read above.

A Phoenix based on the Epassporte model would be the best thing.

Don't dismiss online gambling either. Is that legal in Canada?

Manwin does not own MOST of the industry, not even close. I'd be surprised if they owned more than 10%, probably a lot less...

Probably not THAT much, they are buying all this stuff well below their true value... they probably get their investment back within 12-24 months, and they've been at it for years, so most of their acquisitions are already paid off I would think...

It's not quantity, it's online presence. Yeah, fat girls still have balloon sites and shit, but the people get the bigs put in their faces. The top 10% (or less) of this industry makes about 90% of the money.

All that's needed to cripple the whole system is for Google to ban their tubes from the serps. This would pretty much be a death blow.

You think none of that was SE traffic for various (numerous) phrases?

Just to add to the google removing tubes from serps - if anyone thinks that the US gov't is going to allow any old minor to just navigate to xyztube.com and get all the hardcore porn available on them, for free, 24/7, for all time, you are living in fantasy land. As has been stated on here before by others, well, actually, I'm not going to bother repeating it. But the endgame is pretty obvious

You spoil sport, let LB keep grabbing straws.

People have learnt that porn is free. If it was nothing but paysites on page one and two, surfers would go to page three. Or just add the word Tube or Free.
