one thing is sure I won't vote for uncle tom, or any other wall street buttboy.

you are all so fucking embarrassing. no thought, no analysis, dull facts about gun sales and implied threats about the same, and this endless whining and drudge goosestep.

if you want to be threatening for christs sake at least try to appear competent.

That's what drives up stock prices.
Supply and Demand.
If they make any profit at all they win.

living in a former socialist country, i can say that Obamas "socialism" would be considered far right conservative over here. Which makes Romney something like a facist.

I've never seen so many people cheering so hard for a bureaucrat who hasn't done much at all. It's amazing how his cult of personality rules some folks.

The fact that people have to keep trying to explain that he's done anything is pretty much indicative of how effective he hasn't been.

Oh, I was. I was Republican through and through. I was born into a Republican family.

I loved Regan, and liked Bush Sr. I was surprised Clinton did as well as he did. I supported Bush Jr in Afghanistan - I wanted to kick ass - and even supported Bush in Iraq. Then I watched as the Bush Administration destroyed our country, throwing the US and the rest of the world into the worst recession in the past sixty years. Exactly half of the twenty houses are on my street were vacant, and all of my friends and my wife couldn't find jobs.

What was the Republican solution to this massive problem? McCain - And Palin? Wait, what? That's a joke, right? McCain fifteen years ago was a man who took care of business. He was a fucking United States hero. He went to Vietnam when he was governor of AZ and said "I don't care who I offend, the VC imprisoned me and tortured me - You will always gooks to me". Fuck yea. But when he ran for President he was an old man way past his prime. He was going to fix our programs? And fucking Palin? Holy, that was a joke right?

Here's what really went down... The Republican party had destroyed our country and knew that they had no chance in hell of winning. Holy fucking shit, the Republican party got beat by a black man with a Muslim name who was a no name Senator from Illinois who may or may not have been born in Hawaii.

Flash forward four years later.... The entire Republican platform seems to be "Are we better off now than four years ago" and "we have a secret fix to solve our problems but we aren't telling anyone what it is". Are we better off now? Of course we are. You could have put my pet dog in the Oval Office and we still be better off - It was must a matter of not fucking up and allowing time to fix the financial problems. Construction has resumed in my home town, nineteen out of twenty houses on my street are occupied (the one empty one is because of a divorce), and all of my friends have jobs. This is where the Republican party is failing - Things are in fact better, and they don't seem to have a plan to do any better.

Then we have Romeny... Really? He's a business man of dubious intent who is the root of the problem, not the solution. He borrowed money to buy companies, raped them, destroyed them, ran them into the ground, collected a huge profit, and then hid the money from the IRS. Don't tell me he didn't - that was his entire business model. What was the name of the paper company they bought? AM Pad or AMP Paper or something? They borrowed money to buy the company, had the company itself borrow yet more money to make it look profitable, took more in "management fees" than the company made, ran the company straight into the ground, and then laughed all the way to the bank.

Next up we have the fact he was governor in Massachusetts. What was his approval rating there when he left office? He left office with a 34% approval rating - how the fuck is that Presidential material?

I used to be Republican through and through. But the Republican party bent us over, fucked us hard with a strap on dildo, and then failed to even try to fix the problem.

I was a US Marine under Regan; I loved that man. We were going to kick Russia's ass and I was going to lead the fucking charge. I have a dozen books about Regan downstairs. Under Bush Sr. we bitch smacked Iraq - I mean, our military made Iraq look pretty fucking silly. After 9/11 it was the Republicans again leading the charge in Afghanistan and then bitch smacking Iraq again - this was beautiful!

God bless the United States, God bless Republican party.

What the fuck just happened? In two or three years under a Republican administration we financially destroyed the United States AND brought the rest of the world to it's knees. The Republican party seems to be completely oblivious to this fact, and has failed to own up to it. The ship went down, it went down hard, and at the helm was a Republican administration.

Instead of trying to fix the problem, they offered up McCain? When he was running he looked like he was gonna die at any moment. Palin? That was a joke, right? Now we have Romney with his business experience of destroying companies while raping them for dollars, and then walking away with a horrible approval rate as a Governor.

I'll tell you exactly what's going on. The Republican party fucked us in the ass, they know they have no fucking chance of reclaiming the White House in the last election or this one, and they are offering up sacrificial lambs.

I see what your saying.... but when does the 1.4 trillion per year were outspending the amount we take in start to outweigh the "slow recovery, but yes a recovery" we are seeing under the Obama administration? It almost feels like were living in a fantasy land with blinders on. Do we spend ourselves into an early grave for temporary jobs, or do we get our fiscal act in order and move forward on most likely harder, but much more solid and long term ground? We cannot keep spending like we are, this cannot go on forever. What is the solution in that regard?

Thank you for your service!
But.. What's with the two or three years into a Republican administration?
The unemployment was great under bush for 7 + years. right up until the very end.
Everything was zinging along just fucking peachy until about August or September of 2008. Just before the election.
And there just happened to be a Democrat controlled congress during that time not that I'm blaming them but lets see this for what it is.
The Housing market crashing is what fucked the economy.
Sure bush spent too much money. But hey didn't start the housing bust. Clinton signed that shit into law.
I can't understand how you can't see that.
Or remember it clearly.
I bought my last house in July before everything took a shit. I know damn well what happened and when. I still owe more than what my house is worth.
This line about 8 horrible years of Bush.. Give it a fucking rest already.
The Economy and businesses in general were kicking ass for damn near all of his term.

The line about "MY dog could have made this county better that 4 years ago" is fitting.

I don't know, wouldn't that depend on the size of your county? :)
