Bella Cash is threatening me, I've done nothing wrong. Advice?

    Bella Cash is threatening me, I've done nothing wrong. Advice?

    Last night I received the following email:

    Bella Network Legal Department [email protected]

    10:06 PM (13 hours ago)

    Eastyn,

    Are you fucking retarded?

    facebook . com / pages / Bryci / 116566835158764

    Impersonation, stealing my copyrights etc?

    I can and will have all your affiliate accounts with all CCbill sites,
    Gods Girls, Pink Velvet etc shut down within 24 hours if you don't
    remove this fake Bryci page and stop being an idiot.

    This is your own warning. Then I have ccbill shut you down as well as
    give me your address so I can pass it on to my lawyer.

    Legal action. Lawsuit time. You feel me?

    It's apparently a fake account for Bella Cash's model "Bryci", and is automatically updating by importing posts from a blog I run. PornThings [.] tumblr [.] com IS my blog that I use as an affiliate promotional tool, but the fake Bryci account has nothing to do with me and I was just as surprised to see what's happening as he was.

    It shocks me that someone would create a fake account and import posts from my blog, I have no idea what their reasoning is, but I have nothing to do with it and would never do something so stupid so as to impersonate someone like that.

    I have nothing to hide and I have done nothing wrong. I have no control over that fake "Bryci" Facebook account and am at a loss.

    Any advice, suggestion, etc., is welcome.

      OK, first of all, if any of that is making them sales, they're retards for wanting it pulled.

      Second, the first measure they should take is contact Facebook or flag the page or something. AFAIK Facebook is NOT tolerant of porn.

      Third, threats are fucking childish either way... I know they're trying to protect their content and whatnot and I agree they should. BUT there are significantly more diplomatic ways of doing so. I do understand them being mad though.

              Definitely. I did tell him it's not me and I have nothing to do with it. He asked me "If you were me would you believe you?"

              It's not me. I have no idea who did it or why anyone would link to my blog. It's not benefiting me (I never made a Bella Cash sale) and it's certainly not benefiting the person who created it. Bella Cash closed my affiliate account with them, which is fine, but I am concerned about my other account with GodsGirls being shut down because that one is important to me. This is aggravating.

                                                                                                  Explain to him, if you haven't already, what is apparently going on.

                                                                                                                          It's fairly common and doesn't make you look bad really. Somebody is scraping your content. That's the end of the story. If it's not you, you did nothing wrong, and there is really not much you can do about it nor do you need to.

                                                                                                                          The real beef is with the guy that is impersonating this model. There is nothing wrong with your content use, from what I understand.

Someone wants to put a new site up and they can just grab some content so their site/page looks active by using a feed. Your site just happened to be the feed chosen.

                                                                                                                                  If the page gets enough 'Likes' it can be used for marketing other things. You never know, the owner could have done the same thing with 50 other blogs. Or maybe they're some weird fan and that's a quick way of kick starting the page.

And the girls saw the blogs and they were pissed. TRULY SUCKS...

                                                                                                                                                                  That's another reason to take care of what PERSONAL INFO you give the sponsor NOWADAYS, since that day I really take care because NOWADAYS sponsors are really acting like Fucking IDIOTS, so must take care of what personal info you give to them, because they CAN ABUSE THE SYSTEM to MOLEST YOU.. Really sucks that a sponsor does that. After all we ARE sending them sales, we are not ENEMY.. but the sponsors sometimes take their OWN AFFILIATES as ENEMIES.. I hate when that happens and I specially HATE when a sponsor ACTS like a fuckign NAZI... At the first warning sign I see of a sponsor contacting me because of some bullshit, I STOP PROMOTING them because it always leads to the same end...

                                                                                                                                                                          Easy fix, start using those blogs to send traffic to a different sponsor. I still have it in for a sponsor who strong-armed a friend of mine into selling them a domain ranking 2nd for a paysite name of theirs. One of these days I'll rank a site for that name and send the traffic to a different sponsor. If I ever get of my ass, that is.
