          an NFL team costs about 1 billion dollars, an Arena League team for a few million and a CFL team maybe 7-10 million.

          very few individuals can afford an NFL franchise.

          i'd love to own an NFL or NBA or NHL team, any sports fan has that fantasy. As investments, lots of better investments around. Many NBA and NHL teams lose money, moreso the NHL.

                                                  I'm pretty sure if I had the billion dollars an NFL team costs I would simply buy myself some season tickets and go find something else major to invest in to feed my ego.
