Federal Tax Law ... Guess how many pages ...

For 2012 try 73,608 pages. All but a dozen or so have to be for EXEMPTIONS. 73,000 pages on tactics for tax avoidance ...... A real effort to overhaul the tax system has to start with making it simple and understandable by every taxpayer.

Yeah, I forget but its costs something like $1250 in printing costs if you want a copy of the entire tax code.

Hence my aforementioned problems. And I'm not even American - so don't think you're alone when it comes to bureaucratic idiocy. Canada has THAT down to an art.

Obama has practically nil to do with the tax code but yes, let's make the about the President and not the Congress that writes and passes it.

Yeah cause he can't possibly tell them to sign this or that, or he will veto this or that. They don't have you do this for me, I do that for you type thing at all.

Wake up.

It's the Accountants Right To Work Act ...

Ever consider the fees and/or costs in productive time to comply with these laws?

But if it is professional fees -- it's tax deductible
