Lebron James is not one of the elite athletes of the world because he wanted to get rich.

For those who are super successful and super rich, at first it may be about the money, but once Bill Gates made his first billion did he keep working because he wanted more? Likely not. He might like the money and it may act as a scorecard of sorts, but in the end people who are successful like that are typically hyper-competitive and they wan to be the best at what they do and the money is a byproduct.

Having grown up around quite a few millionaires and business owners, that is very true for most of them..

If you have to even ask then you don't have any chance at becoming one of them. They do something they are passionate about and once they get to a certain point they have more money than they know what to do with so it's obviously not about the money.

So you are telling me that the people that own waste companies and port-a-potty companies are so passionate about shit that they would do it putting aside the money?

Yes someone with great management skills can manage a large company. He has to have people under him with an intimate knowledge and love of the product. No mater how well the company is managed, if the product isn't being bought again and again because customers love it, the business will struggle. Against ones with products created by those who create a better product.

Yes, I believe that is true. How much money do you really need to live? To be driven to truly excel, it has to be about more than money.
