Why are Tubes going out of business?
Today I noticed that a lot of tubes that were relatively known have gone out of business, and I'm wondering what's causing this.
Is it the price of bandwidth?
Lack of good sponsor videos?
The webmaster has found a better source of revenue?

I have been running a tube, its hard to keep it legal since many epopel upload copy material, the only way is to keep it closed to uploads and do it myself but take to mutch time, have more then porn to work with

That's why they're out of business. Only one person (the OP) knew about them.

I was suprised to see a decent name there, tubex.com, given how shit tube site names usually are (for example: the rest of that list), but turns out it's not a tube site and never has been.

It is curious and interesting to see that the tubes have been much slower adding new content for some months now.

I do a few test searches in some of my niches, and the results have been close to identical, nothing new at all, for some time.

In the tubes I'm searching at least.

In regards to the comment about doing all the work yourself - with imports of videos from most sponsors, some even upload for you - there are low-time options for a legal tube :D

Those are 'fake tubes' that mostly monetize on sending CPM traffic to those tubes at around $1-2.50. A big one that I know like that is tubegalore.com
