    Keeping adult separate from mainstream

In life, do you tell people what you really do for a living? I only work in the adult business - often I'll just say I'm in sales and marketing and leave it at that, no one ever really pushes.

Have any of you ever been in a mainstream situation where your "dirty" business affected you being able to be in mainstream?

If this is the wrong spot for this post - if someone directs me to the right place - I'll go.

Internet Marketing is all that needs to be said. I have 500+ mainstream domains, handfuls of mainstream sites all registered under brand A with different whois records/servers then the adult shit.

All the adult shit falls under Brand B.

if dealing in mainstream can show those without mentioning Brand B, dealing adult can show those without mentioning Brand A

close friends know and only family member that knows is mom.

Tell them you work in the adult industry just don't be specific as now you have the opportunity to be solicited for sex. Beats sounding like a wanker at a desk. Let them think you have the porn star dick. Don't worry too much as no matter what you do in life you won't meet every ones moral expectations.
