Need a new VPS server to stream, help!

VPS for streaming is not a good idea. Load on the server can mess it up too much.
You should go with dedicated. But for $4.00 a month, no dice. If you need a good dedicated for streaming, hit me up..

well ya i got a great deal but the servers are unreliable, i want a VPS i don't have to worry about going down everyday

Linode is great, I use them, but their bandwidth prices get pretty steep as you get up there.

If he is streaming a lot of video a dedicated might be cheaper.

i don't stream a lot, less than 500gigs a month. but i would need it managed, does Linode do that?
