I disagree. I am not one of them but I bet there are a decent amount of affiliates doing at least $100/day across their network. Some people here post all day and night and read all day and night with 4-5 figures of posts. Why would they stay around if they weren't making at least that?

I think it's also the fact that most won't dedicate their time to it like a full time job and figure out what works and repeat.
On the other end of it, people without any html/internet experience will come in and think that just working hard will get them somewhere. I've been programming since I was 8 and SEO since I was 11 and still have trouble with competition sometimes...

BUT REALITY is that most people DON'T do $100 or more per day here... Most people here, the big majority does less than that.
it's 2012, and working 12 hours per day in ADULT doesn't quarantees to do 100 or more per day.
In 2005, anyone could work 12 hours or more per day, every single day and make 10K +...
Nowadays, you can work 12 hours per day, for 1 month and make few hundreds. Being an affiliate really sucks nowadays...
Tell anyone to do these things for 1 month, every single day, working 12 hours per day and I can quarantee you that he will make ONLY 500 bucks with LUCK:
_Build blogs all day, work on seo, etc
_Choose 10-15 sponsors
_Write fresh content all day
_submit to directories, update the blogs, post galleries, submit to gallery sites
_make link trades, etc
_send all the traffic to sponsors and your other blogs.
THAT above, ALL DAY for 1 month... And remember, he won't make more than 500 bucks, after working 12 x 30 = 360 HOURS!!!!!
360 hours!! WTF!! Even if you only worked only for 5 dollars per hour, you would make 1800 dollars!!!
That's when I HATE fucking sponsors, that convert us into SLAVES for nothing, they get all the traffic, while you don't convert, dont get money and ruin your business.
And I tell to others, that not, don't come with the bullshit, that you need to work for 1 year to see results.
