That's BS! When did you register the domain? I would send an email or call them directly and bitch about it. Even if its $10 they shouldn't get to can your shit and keep your money.

Probably Legitscript at it again. Founded by a member of the Bush administration who changed the rules a bit in his favor and now his company Legitscript is harassing owners of pharma related domains.

If your domain name has any even remotely pharma related keywords in it, do not keep it at enom/namecheap or godaddy.

Damn, i never knew this was such a big issue.
It really scares me that your domain can be deleted just like that.

Freaky_Akula 08-23-2012 07:21 AM

I stopped using Godaddy because baddog recommends them.

Let me put it this way. Which company won't delete my domain like that. Without even warning me.

Don't you people think they at least should've given me the chance to transfer the domain? I mean i paid for the damn thing.

you need to use www.internet.bs

offshore domain registrar
cheap domains
no issues so far.

RackEngine Offers Adult Friendly Domain Registration for only $9.95

You know what I don't like, is that fact the company's like GoDaddy, give you one price, and then when you go to register a domain, there is a totally different one at checkout.

RackEngine Does domain name registrations. I will admit we are a reseller for domain registrations, because really no one wants to with deal InterNIC and ICANN.

We have no restrictions on what domain names can be registered and we also provide free WHOIS privacy services, and anycast DNS for only $9.95 per year. Doesn't matter if it's a new registration or if you are transferring a domain over, it's still $9.95. Plus you can host your domain for free with our free RackEngine Starter package.

In any case, if you would like to register a domain, click here

Shared my story of that place so many years ago. Got blamed for sending spam from a domain I hadn't even completed setting up yet. wtg

First they came for Kim Dotcom...

edgeprod 08-23-2012 01:23 PM

This is ridiculous. I was just on the phone with them about a large domain order. I'm going to tell them this is why they can shove it up their ass, and give them the thread.

Do you keep or retain privacy DURING the transfer process or is the domain exposed even temporarily and leave a history of ownership.

Can the datacentre be chosen at the time of transfer such as London site?

If the domain is transferred to your company then where will it be registered - in UK or USA, implying which law is applicable for any demand on showing privacy or demand to bring the site down by any claimant ?

Faceporn.no was lucky that this issue was clear cut for them. Which juridiction is applicable for domain registered with your company and sites hosted by to servers

please email me your answer. cheers.

As a reseller you are bound to the terms and conditions of the sponsoring registrar, if you use Resellerclub or Enom then you will have the same issue with pharmacy domains.

In November a whole range of ICANN policies will need to be adopted by every registrar to retain accreditation, so what you're saying is very misleading.

As a reseller you have zero control over domain registration policy.
