A suggestion for program owners - GoFuckYourself.com

I am signing up to some new sponsors, for some blogs I am building.

I am trying to find tube videos to embed in these blogs.

The last 3 or 4 sponsors I signed up for, had some really great looking embedded videos.

Then I embed them into my blog.. and instead of a nice looking video screen shot displaying inside the tube video - I see a watermark of the site i am promoting.. useless.

Here is an example:

So if i were to fill up a blog with these videos, the surfers wouldn't have a clue what they are clicking on, they would need to click on every single video, start playing it and see what it is - Highly unlikely.

So my suggestion is.. use hot thumbnails and surfers will play the videos, these seem kinda useless to me..

Ah yes, I really hate that too...so I end up making my own thumbnail previews and putting them over the video.

Yea i am too lazy to be doing that, its already a pain writing hundreds of blog posts i fucking hate it

Yeah I hear ya, it is a big pain in the ass...I will typically only go through the trouble if I'm not creating to many posts or I really think the site will convert well.

i concur, some sponsors like it for branding purposes...

what is your email/icq? i have couple sponsors that use really good thumbs in the player, i can send them over to ya! ( if u need more that is)

thank you for the suggestion and it is a good one at that. We are currently working pretty hard to get some good clips up for our webmasters and I'll make sure the team we have editing them include good thumbs to go with the videos (640x480)

if anyone has any other suggestions for our programs (Kenny's Pennies and Radical Cash) shoot me an e mail at jim -at- kennyspennies -.- com I would love to get them and see what I can do about implementation.

But what he says is true. If using NATS a program can specify a thumbnail and should. It is easy to do. We go as far as not even having watermarks in our thumbs.
