My point was, the Playboy Program has **never** been effectively managed. And that's not a jab at affiliate managers as their hands are tied, as were yours. But between the lawyers tying your hands, or changing the rules, and the seemingly endless amount of upper management desk drivers, even the affiliate managers appear to be often placed in a position of awkwardness as they are the ones fielding all the boneheaded moves by management.

I wasn't a rep, yet I spent a lot of time helping out webmasters because that's what I was, a webmaster. I promoted Playboy myself and made some good money. Spent my own money, was just a few bucks, for the code for a Playboy Webmaster tool that was implemented.
Every time Jill posted about something that Playboy was doing, it sounded like she was pushing it to the general public, not GFY. She was a pain in the ass to work for. And trying to belittle me in open forum shows what a bitch she is.

Looking at your link, we used MPA3 for tracking, I looked at the Playboy Plus site and they seemed to have changed to NATS. At the Sacramento office (ICS) we started several Playboy sites that we over saw ourselves in the beginning and they we're tracked on MPA3.

I think sometimes people get put in charge that are not going to think about the affiliate and all that they do, because they don't know any better. They think that a simple correction on the part of the affiliate is all it takes to change out all their links and that as affiliates, we always read all our emails. As you know, we don't. Who has the time?

I also don't think some programs don't think about just how much affiliates do for them, like all the links that add to the SEO of a site they get placed for them.
