That's not how it works. If you'd take over and want to keep making the 10K a month you'd also have to take over the staff that updates the site etc. He mentions 2 editors and a coder. Not sure how much they get paid, but probably it will cost 2.5 - 3K a month. So then there is only 7K left. Then there is hosting and of course any time you have to put into the site yourself. Imagine having to update all of the affiliate accounts to your own info at 100s of programs, it's going to be hell.

It is a totally fair initial price. Buyer offers 100K, seller comes back with 175K, finally selling for 150K.
If the coder is who I think it is the buyer will have no problems. The biggest problem will be signing up for every single program SBD has signed up for over the past years. Unless with the sale is the transfer of every account (which will be 1000's).

Of course the sale will include all the affiliate accounts, that's how a lot of the income is made (webmaster referrals), so all his affiliate accounts must be part of the deal, otherwise it doesn't make any sense whatsoever.
So yeah, the new owner would have to update 100s of affiliate accounts to his own info.Comment

the buyer gets all the accounts, including my Paxum and maybe even GFY
from my experience account info doesn't really matter if it's not check or wire payments, or if nothing happens like epass crash. it can be done in no rush mode over the year. just like the editors check every program at least once a year. plus you can get 60% changed simply by changing 1 CCBill, Verotel, Epoch, Zombaio and Dhd account
the buyer also gets NiftyStats with all the NATS programs typed-in

It must be hard to let go of this MrDeiz as there's a big chunk of you in that website?
I always used to wish I'd gone down your route and created a huge webmaster referral database, on the basis that a webmaster referral can keep on earning for many years, maybe they'll still be working for you 10 years down the line, whereas selling to the surfer (e.g. blog post, gallery etc) tends to be more of a short term benefit, then you need to keep doing the same to get the same return. Having said that, I have recently found ways of improving the second technique, though still not to the extent of a webmaster referral.Comment
