My Macbook from 2006 has an 80gig HDD. It's got 14gig free. The netbook has a 500gig hdd and I have 1tb in a backup drive. So a little over 1.5tb of space, but I'm adding an iMac when they get refreshed/updated here in Sept/Oct.

My video box has a 256 GB SSD for the OS and programs, data is on 6x 2TB drives. Plus numerous external drives, some that get shipped back and forth between me, content providers and mojo, others that are for back ups.

I have a back up box that mirrors the video machine being built now.

both computers have six drives that are 300GB each, just as many external as well. I need to get these TB drives and make it a lot easier to find shit

Last time I counted I had something like 30TB worth of raw storage in this room, but because I have lots of redundancy the actual unique/useable amount would be a lot lower. My 3 backup sets (redundant copies of my NAS array) are worth 10TB of that alone.

and usually only the one on the left is running, the rest is backup. and that one is very quiet
