You guys crack me up. 15 years ago, they would have been summarily executed at worst, best case,.. the girls and their immediate families sent to a gulag somewhere in the far east and there would be no public knowledge of it. So, i'd say things are quite a bit better. It's a nation in transition. Not a 500 year old democracy. The progress everyone seems to keep expecting, doesn't happen overnight. It happens over decades.
